Sony and Microsoft will focus on their game line-ups

Doug Creutz, an analyst working for Cowen & Company and tracking the video game industry, believes that neither Sony nor Microsoft has any plans to reveal pricing for the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One during the coming E3 2013.

The company does believe that Nintendo might announce a price cut for the Wii U in order to generate bigger sales in the coming months.

The PlayStation Vita handheld might also get a lower price during E3 2013.

Creutz is quoted by VG247 as saying, “We doubt either Microsoft or Sony will address pricing for current- or next-gen consoles at E3, though we do think there is a chance that Nintendo could announce a price cut for the Wii U in an attempt to steal some thunder.”

Both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 will be out before the end of 2013 on all major markets.
