14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Spicy Horse and American McGee are announcing that they are working on a new title called OZombie, based on the Oz universe, which is seeking to get resources via the Kickstarter crowd-funding service.
The style of Alice: Madness Returns and Akaneiro: Demon Hunters is used to tackle the content seen in the 14 Oz books from L. Frank Baum.
OZombie is designed to include role-playing, tactical-driven combat, complex storytelling and world exploration.
The team states, “OZombie will be first and foremost a single player game. You'll play as Dorothy and be able to persuade many of the captivating fiction’s familiar characters to join your hunting party.”
The Scarecrow will be the main enemy and gamers will have to battle waves of enemies while exploring the unique land of Oz.
The team is asking for 950,000 dollars (725,000 Euro).
The game is set to be launched on the PC using Windows, Linux, the Mac and tablets.
