The company is donating all the money from its sales

Video game publisher Electronic Arts announces that it has donated 1.65 million dollars (980,000 Euro) to the American Cancer Society, the share that the organization is entitled to from sales of Origin Humble Bundle.

Peter Moore, the chief operations officer of the company, states via Twitter that he is, “So proud of Team EA in raising $10.5M from the Humble Bundle, $1.65M of which goes to the American Cancer Society @EA pic.twitter.com/5VfUx72keY.”

The EA bundle included high-profile titles like Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 – Uprising, Populous, Dead Space, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2: Maximum Edition, Mirror’s Edge, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3 Starter Pack.

The company is giving away all the revenue from the sale and other charities that will receive a share include Human Rights Campaign, Watsi, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, the American Red Cross and GamesAid.

Gamers were able to select which charity they wanted to get the money when purchasing the bundle.
