Amazon will offer its own PS Store deals independently of Sony

Amazon and Sony have partnered up for one of the biggest joint efforts in the history of console gaming – the Amazon PlayStation Store – a digital storefront that offers downloadable and digital games for the PS4, PS3, or PS Vita, not to mention other things found normally only on Sony's PlayStation Store.

Console owners are mostly stuck with a single digital download service, in the form of the PS Store for PlayStation owners, and the Xbox Live Games store for Xbox 360 or One users.

Now, however, Sony has decided to offer its customers more choices, and confirmed that it's partnered with online retailer Amazon, allowing it to build its own PlayStation Store.

From here, visitors can take advantage of deals not usually found on the PS Store and special offers that are exclusive to Amazon, such as free cashback for select purchases or the special Buy Two Get One Free promotion.
