Gary Napper, a lead designer working on the new Alien: Isolation, says that his team is creating a xenomorph Artificial Intelligence that will be able to adapt to the way humans are using items.

He tells The Official PlayStation Magazine that, "Finding something you can use, it might work as a once off, and you’re like ‘yes’ and the next time it might not work as well. Slowly you suddenly realise that this thing is learning from you and adapting to how you play."

The Creative Assembly says that it will only allow players access to basic items and a limited number of small fire arms.

Those who play Alien: Isolation will not be able to use plasma rifles, grenade launchers or electric guns to control the alien thereat.

The game is expected to arrive this year on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PC and current gen consoles.
