Adidas, the well-known clothing and fitness brand, has launched a lawsuit against video game publisher THQ, saying that it has failed to launch a fitness-related title that was set to be linked to the MiCoach set of games.

The sportswear manufacturer is asking for 10.6 million dollars (8.02 million Euro) according to reports from OregonLive.

Adidas is saying that it is also interested in getting the game code from THQ so that it can then choose another development team to complete the experience and then partner with another publisher to launch it.

THQ has recently announced that it plans to change its business direction, abandoning its licensed properties and shifting all its resources to the development of a number of core titles, including Darksiders II and a new Dawn of War.

The company has also fired developers, cut the salaries of executives and lowered forecasts for this year and the next.
