14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Gone North Games has announced that its upcoming adventure title A Story About My Uncle will be coming to Steam during summer 2014.
A Story About My Uncle is a first-person platform adventure game about a boy going on a journey to find his lost uncle and ending up in an incredible world, as depicted in the game's official trailer.
The core gameplay mechanic is grappling via a hook attached to the user's right arm, allowing for a much more fluid and dynamic exploration of the game environment.
Players will be swinging through wondrous caverns and enjoy the unique art style while the mysterious story gradually unravels before them.
A Story About My Uncle started as a university project and was available as a free demo, until being nominated for Game of the Year in the Swedish Game Awards 2012.
Developer Gone North Games has then entered an agreement with Coffee Stain Studios, now working on a professional version for Steam.
