This week has again been a busy one in the world of video games and, here at Softpedia, we have managed to get out four full review for some major games, starting with the excellent Batman: Arkham City, continuing with the first person shooter RAGE, then the simulation Football Manager 12 and ending with the DICE and Electronic Arts blockbuster Battlefield 3.

We also have a Quick Look for the same Battelfield 3 from earlier during the week and another for the underwhelming X-Men: Destiny from Silicon Knights and Activision.

I also created the first entry in a set of Gamer Diaries linked to my Liverppol experience for Football Manager 12 and we have the usual Weekend Reading features, one dealing with the three day launch delay and its effects and one about the GTA V rumors, and an EndWeekGame segment about what we are currently enjoying.

And, as always, we have a selection of the most important news of the week.

On Monday we found out that one of the main reasons that Diablo III development was long is linked to loot balancing, something that fans care for, while the DOTA version created by Blizzard was finally detailed.

On Tuesday analysts weighted in on the fight between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, saying that sales will be about 2 to 1 in favor of the Activison game, while Grand Theft Auto V was officially revealed by Rockstar, with a trailer set to arrive next week.

Wednesday Blizzard talked the deal which gets World of Warcraft players who sign up for a year a free copy of Diablo III while rumors sprouted up about GTA V, with Los Angeles featuring prominently.

Thursday Rockstar again made the news by talking about its future plans while the Ubisoft developers working on Assassin's Creed talked about the new hookblade tool.

Friday it was revealed that Modern Warfare 3 copies were available in the wild while Blizzard talked about World of Warcraft and free to play.
