This week, the team at Softpedia Games working on reviews delivers long-form evaluations for: Chronology, the new episode of The Walking Dead – Season 2, Panzer Tactics HD, 1849 and The Last Tinker: City of Colors.

We also have the traditional Gamer Diaries for those who want to explore a title in depth, focused on The Last Federation from Arcen Games and on Wargame Red Dragon from Eugen Systems.

The editorials of the week talk about Microsoft’s decision to drop the Kinect from the Xbox One next-gen consoles and reduce its price, about controls for Dark Souls 2 on the PC, and about the mistakes of forcing Kinect on game developers.

We also have a Weekend Reading piece that talks about the way game series tend to make us remember mechanics, using the example of Wargame Red Dragon.
