It's the week before the E3 industry trade show, which usually means little in the way of very important news as everybody is keeping their powder dry for the floor and press conferences, but we still managed to post a Quick Look for Dungeons & Dragons – Daggerdale, one for Hunted: The Demon's Forge and Impressions piece about the newly launched Duke Nukem Forever demo.

We also have a just finished Gamer Diary for The Witcher 2 and one linked to the racing game Dirt 3 from Codemasters, a game that also received a full Softpedia review.

We also have a Weeekend Reading piece that deals with the presence and impact of jerks on gaming and an EndWeekGame piece about how we spent our gaming time.

And we collected a number of stories from the past week that attracted out interest.

On Monday the trailer for the Heart of the Swarm expansion for Starcraft II leaked, showing a few tantalizing glimpses into what the game has to offer, just as the developers at Io Interactive who are working on Hitman: Absolution talked about getting the game hardcore and making it accessible at the same time.

Tuesday the creators of Dragon Age 2 admitted that the game had a few flaws and promised that the team will make changes for the better in the third game in the series.

At the same time Microsoft was revealed to have trademarked the Fusion name, with three projects set to use it in the future.

Wednesday Blizzard talked about how central Kerrigan and her abilities will be to Heart of the Swarm while a preview build of Deus Ex: Human Revolution was leaked to the public, showing off the first hub city of the game.

Thursday WWE 12 was revealed via official trailer while SEGA and Gearbox announced that Aliens: Colonial Marines will be coming in spring 2012.

Friday was The Witcher 2 dominated as the game got patch 1.2 as the Xbox 360 version was confirmed.
