It has not been a very busy week in the world of gaming and that has enabled us here at Softpedia to dedicate some time to simulating the first time of Le Tour de France using Pro Cycling Manager 2011 for a series of Game Diaries, at the same time as the real world competition is taking place.

We have also created a full Softpedia review for F.E.A.R. 3, the mix between first-person shooter and horror, and one for Bayonetta.

And we also have a Weekend Reading piece about how saves and the used game market might be manipulated by publisher and an EndWeekGame segment about our weekend gaming time.

And, as the titles says, we have a number of stories to share from the last seven days.

On Monday, we found out that the new team at Respawn Entertainment, which is working on an unannounced first-person shooter, has 409 people on staff that have also worked on Modern Warfare 2 while Epic Games has announced that it was working hard to find who leaked Gears of War 3 on torrent sites.

Tuesday was dominated by rumors that a PlayStation 4 was set to be launched by Sony during 2012, complete with a Kinect-like motion-tracking system while BioWare talked about how it aimed to have a diverse art style for the upcoming Mass Effect 3.

On Wednesday, Sony showed off the new PSN Pass initiative that it plans to arrive alongside Resistance 3 while the Uncharted 3 beta stage received a patch.

On Thursday, the developers at DICE talked about how the single player campaign and the multiplayer side of Battlefield 3 complemented each other while Nintendo indicated that it had no plans to launch games on platforms other than the Wii and the 3DS, despite authorizing a Pokemon game for smartphones.

On Friday, BioWare confirmed new downloadable content that will be launched for Dragon Age 2, called Legacy, while Bethesda unveiled a new project called Dishonored.
