This week we launched a new series of articles, Incoming 2011, that are taking quick and dirty looks at the biggest video games that are set to arrive during this year and at their importance to the medium of video gaming.

We also have a review of King Arthur – The Druids, the new expansion for the Total War like strategy game, which offers some interesting new mechanics and an exciting new pagan based campaign.

On Monday, we found out that Neocore Games is working on King Arthur II, aiming to create a darker fantasy world and delivering more options for both the turn based and the real time strategy sections, while BioWare announced that the final release of the PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 would be better than what players saw in the demo.

On Tuesday, Activision delivered the first trailer and more details about First Strike, the first piece of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops, while Bethesda offered more information on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, with finishing moves and dual wielding taking center stage.

On Wednesday, Epic Games officially talked about the Gears of War Triple Pack set which will be launched on February 15 while Nintendo also mentioned dates, announcing that the 3DS handheld would be on sale on March 25 in Europe and March 27 in North America.

On Thursday, Microsoft talked about Halo, again refusing to reveal what it plans to do with the franchise in the future while a new Xbox Live update apparently assaulted pirates of Call of Duty and Halo: Reach.

On Friday, we found out about cross promotion between Dead Space 2 and Dragon Age 2 while Need for Speed got new cars via patch.
