We've returned to the Incoming 2011 series this week, previewing some of the most important video game launches that will be happening this year, but we also have a Quick Look for the free-to-play and browser-based Battlestar Galactica Online.

We also reviewed Stacking, the latest game from Tim Schafer.

Our Weekend Reading piece talks about how Sony is going backwards in time with its move to link each physical copy of DC Universe Online for the PlayStation 3 with the first created account and we also have an EndWeekGame article detailing how we spent our gaming time this weekend.

As always, we can also deliver a selection of news from the week that passed us by.

On Monday, the developers of Bodycount talked about how the only way to compete with Call of Duty is to deliver experiences that are as far away as possible from the Activision-made ones, while piracy hit the industry hard as both Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 were leaked in an unfinished state and were available on torrent sites.

On Tuesday, we found out that the Heart of the Swarm expansion for Starcraft II is unlikely to come out in 2012 while an inside source talked about Batman Imposters, a new game based on the Dark Knight that could arrive exclusively on the Xbox Live Arcade.

On Wednesday, Call of Duty: Black Ops received a new patch which seeks to solve leaderboard issues while the developers of the Pokemon series have announced that none of the main games in the series will arrive on the Nintendo Wii home console.

On Thursday, it was Starcraft II's turn to get patched, with a lot of balance changes made to the multiplayer element of the game, while the CEO of Electronic Arts has said that Dead Space 3 could actually manage to sell 5 million copies.

On Friday, we took a look at the most recent NPD Group figures for January and found out that Need for Speed is getting more DLC.
