It has been the week just after Easter for Catholics and the week just before the holiday for Orthodox Christians, which means that there was less movement in the video game world than usual but we are still offering out best selection of articles from the previous seven days.

We have continuing Gamer Diaries linked to Mass Effect 3, which is proving to be a game that has staying power through multiplayer even as a single player controversy rages.

We also have a Quick Look for Fez, the indie sensation on Xbox Live.

We also have two Weekend Reading pieces: one dealing with the problem of pre-determined paths in the upcoming Diablo III from Blizzard and another one about Resident Evil 6 and its new launched date.

The EndWeekGame piece talks about how we spend our gaming time for this extended weekend and we also have the most interesting new articles from the week that was.

On Monday BioWare offered details on the Resurgence downloadable content for Mass Effect 3, which adds more maps, weapons and characters to the multiplayer side of the game, while the resume of at least one developer has suggested that the much awaited Grand Theft Auto V is being prepared by Rockstar and Take Two for an October launch.

Tuesday Brian Fargo talked about how Wasteland 2 will try to attract fans of the old Fallout 1 and 2 games while an analyst suggested that both Sony and Microsoft will cut the price of the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 during the E3 trade event.

Wednesday Capcom released video and screenshots for Resident Evil 6 saying that the game was now set to be launched one month earlier and the developers of Mortal Kombat talked about the fighting game resurgence.

On Thursday Blizzard mentioned a number of changes made to the units that will be included in the upcoming Heart of the Swarm expansion for Starcraft II while BioWare talked about what the Extended Cut cinematic will offer for Mass Effect 3 this summer.

Friday the NPD Group revealed their figures for March, showing that the Xbox 360 and Mass Effect 3 topped the chart, and Bethesda offered some details on Skyrim DLC.

Saturday we talked about a possible remake for A Link to the Past and about similarities between Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances and Warhammer 40,000.
