The Nintendo-made 3DS handheld is once again the top selling videogame device on the Japanese market and titles launched for it have also managed to take over the first three positions in the software chart.

For the week that ended on May 5, the platform managed to sell 76,463 units in the seven-day period, according to the data offered by Media Create and cited by NeoGAF.

The PlayStation Vita continued a good spell and sold 22.051 devices during the same period, while the PlayStation 3 also saw a bump despite the coming launch of the next-gen console from Sony.

In the video game chart, the first place goes to Friend Collection: New Life again, with 208,814 units sold in one week.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 is again second, while Animal Crossing: New Leaf takes the final place on the podium.
