The development team at EA Sports confirms that a demo version of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil will be launched later during the day on both the Xbox 360 from Microsoft, via the Xbox Live service, and on the PlayStation 3 from Sony, using the infrastructure of the PlayStation Network.

The official Twitter message from the studio comes after the existence of the demo version for the football title was revealed by the PlayStation Blog.

Neither of the two companies is ready to offer actual information on what the demo will offer, including the game mode that will be made available to fans and the teams that they will be able to control.

EA Sports does promise that it will offer more details soon, but it seems that they will just involve launch times, which means that gamers will have to actually get the demo in order to see what features they can test.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is a complex experience that will include more than 200 national teams, all of them simulated with complete rosters and player attributes that have been tweaked to reflect their performance during the qualifying process.

The title is designed to introduce 10 new game modes, the most interesting of which is Captain Your Country.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil will be launched in the middle of April.
