What's new in Zeal 0.4.13

- General:
- Casters and Ranger now have 13000 Health.
- All casts that were 1.1 or 1.2 seconds are now 1.0 second.
- GCD reduced from 0.75 to 0.70 seconds.
- Conquest:
- Conquest is now played as 10 teams of 2.
- Conquest is now always available and starts automatically after maximum 10 minutes of waiting. Empty slots are filled with bots.
- If you queue solo, you’ll get a bot who will follow and assist you
- Bot teammates will pick up items only if they think you don’t need them. To force them to get an item, loot it and drop back to the ground.
- Experience is now shared to all team members within 50 meters.
- All NPCs now have more health and deal more damage.
- Poisonous Spider’s poison now can be dispelled (as Poison).
- Call Help now pulls up to 2 NPCs of the same type (was unlimited).
- Last Stand now can be broken by defense breaking abilities.
- Enrage is now instant and has a visual effect.
- Known issues:
- The conquest map is being reworked and is not finished yet. Some areas might look weird or empty. Also, NPCs are still placed randomly.
- Bugs:
- Points previously put into Swiftness are now available again.
- Secondary resource is now correctly consumed when a cast is finished.
- Wizard’s Energy Lash now correctly hits to the direction of the camera, not the direction of the character.
- Now you can’t jump on small NPCs like crabs or spiders.
- Cleric:
- Divine Prayer removed.
- Light Spike now restores 20 Mana.
New in Zeal 0.4.11 (May 2, 2019)
- Warrior:
- War Fervor no longer heals and requires the enemy to be killed by you to get the Stamina bonus.
- Outlaw:
- Quick Shot damage bonus removed.
- Slice and Dice damage reduced from 500 to 300.
- Poison Bomb now slows by 30%, damage reduced by 20%.
- Judicator:
- Now has a 1H weapon style and a new offhand: Seeker's Book of Divine Law.
- Witch:
- Dark Binding:
- Now deals indirect damage and doesn’t dismount or break stealth.
- Cast time changed from instant to 1 second.
- Now duplicates 50% of the damage taken.
- The target and its team now can interract with the doll as a friendly unit, but it can’t be healed.
- Maximum link range reduced from 50 to 30 meters.
New in Zeal 0.4.10 RC 1 (May 1, 2019)
- After some testing we decided to return the initially planned Symbol system, where you can improve every active spell with different symbols.
- Since this system alone already provides pretty deep customization, we’re reverting the number of baselines to 4 and reducing the mastery and prime limits by 1.
- Note that’s a development build and the work is still in progress, some spells are placeholders, others might be too strong or too weak, and, generally, the system is not final.

- New weapon: Staff of Elemental Radiance

- New baseline: Rain of Guilt
- Witch:
- Old LMB and RMB now belong to different 1h weapons.

New in Zeal 0.4.9 (Apr 30, 2019)
- General:
- Tooltips now correctly display the resource amount consumed per second of casting.
- Conquest:
- Arrows and other projectiles are now affected by wind.
- Experience is now longer given automatically, but dropped on the ground near the killed npc/player. Picking it up also restores you 5% Health.
- NPCs now use various defensive abilities on low health.
- NPCs no longer benefit from body blocking (so explosions and cleaves will always deal full damage)
- Warrior:
- 2H weapon split to 2 styles: Assault and Defense.
- Steelwake stamina cost reduced from 25 to 20 per tick.
- Bashing Momentum is now baseline
- Valor duration reduced from 5 to 3 seconds, cooldown reduced from 45 to 30 seconds.

- Wizard:
- Mana Shield is now baseline
- Conjure Lightning is now a prime
- Wizard’s default weapon split to Trickster’s Wand and Symbol of Kabbalistic Blasting (abilities remain the same).
- New main hand weapon: Mageblade
- Flash Freeze now increases all damage you deal to the affected enemies, not only Frost.
- Unstable Relocation duration reduced from 1 to 0.5 seconds.
- Ice Beam no longer freezes (but still deals bonus damage on 10 stacks, once).
- Ranger:
- Arrow and bolt speed reduced from 200 to 150 meters per second.
- Rope Shot now correctly works in Conquest
- Rapid Firing hits now have independant crit chance
- Rapid Firing now has a spread like other shots
- Outlaw:
- Hack cost reduced from 50 to 40, damage reduced from 100 to 90 per tick.
New in Zeal 0.4.3 (Mar 11, 2019)
- General:
- Base health of all classes increased by 15-20%.
- Warrior:
- Endurance duration reduced from 8 to 6 seconds.
- Ranger:
- Tailwind damage bonus per meter reduced from 1% to 0.5%.
- Windpiercing Shot damage reduced from 1000 to 800.
- Outlaw:
- Bash cooldown increased from 15 to 16 seconds.
- Passivating Strike cooldown increased from 15 to 16 seconds.
- Judicator:
- Focused Beam now can proc up to 3 times in a row.
- New mastery: Hammer Time. Your melee attacks deal 50% more damage and ignore 50% of the target's Armor.
- Cleric:
- Searing Light now also deals 200 Holy damage instantly.
New in Zeal 0.4.2 (Mar 10, 2019)
- Warrior
- — Dormant Steel: Dealing direct damage with Advancing Strike or Bladewave grants you a stack of Dormant Steel. Once it reaches 10 stacks, they will be consumed and you'll get the Awaken Steel effect for 8 seconds. It increases your movement speed by 30%, range of your melee attacks by 30% and their damage by 30%.
- — Steelwake damage increased from 270 to 400, Stamina cost increased from 15 to 25.
- Wizard:
- Meteor Strike now slams airborne enemies to the ground, dealing up to 50% more damage.
- Hurricane Wave now throws enemies higher and also slightly decreases their movement and falling speed for 2 seconds.
- The Arctic Call now works with Ice Blast instead of Hurricane Wave.
- Outlaw:
- Dark Guile removed
- Passivating Strike is now a prime. Now it also turns Stab into Ambush.
- New mastery: Combat Lust. Your melee attacks have a 20% chance to reduce the Adrenaline cost of your abilities by 50% for 2 seconds.
- Murder no longer has a cooldown. Now it’s a holdable ability that costs 10 Adrenaline per second.
- Judicator:
- Sacred Lightning’s ground mark is now grey and dissappears in 10 seconds.
- New mastery: Focused Beam. With a 25% chance when healing an ally and with a 50% chance when hitting an enemy with Piercing Light its cooldown will be reset and your next Piercing Light deal 30% more damage and healing.
- Benevolence now reduces the cooldowns of Healing Light and Purification by 10%. This bonus is doubled if used on allies.
- Cleric:
- New mastery: Visions of Purity. Makes your direct healing increase the target's Clarity by 5% for 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times.
- New mastery: Promised Retribution. Dealing direct damage has a 20% to deal extra 500 Holy damage to all enemies within 3 meters of the target and restore you 50 mana per each enemy hit.
- New prime: Searing Light. Deals holy damage over time and extra fire damage every time the target moves for 6 seconds.
- Sanctuary is now baseline.
- Divine Prayer is now a prime.
New in Zeal 0.4.1 (Mar 9, 2019)
- General:
- Old bugs fixed.

- Pillars on the castle arena are now smaller.
- Shock and strong slow effects (more than 50%) now also prevent players from jumping.

- Team chat (/t) is now default in team based gamemodes. Use /w to send a message to all players including enemies.
- Battleground:
- Map is now 20% smaller and has more obstacles.
- Dampening is removed.
- Spawns are now located on high ground
- After respawn, players receive Revenge buff for 20 seconds, which increases Critical Effect by 100% and Swiftness by 30%.
- Players now drop the artifact after 15 seconds of inactivity.
- Ancient Stones removed
- Now there are 3 rifts which can be used once. When the last rift is used, they all respawn in 1 minute.
- Score/time UI now also shows the current holders of the Artifacts.
- Experience:
- Now you can gain experience on Battlegrounds:
- Winning a battleground: 50
- Dismantling enemy’s Artifact: 10
- Returning your Artifact: 5
- Performing a Killing Deed: 1
- Warrior:
- Helpless Slaughter duration increased from 5 to 8 seconds.
- Endurance duration increased from 6 to 8 seconds.
- Ranger:
- Quick Hunt now affects up to 2 allies.
- Outlaw:
- Poison Bomb damage is now indirect and doesn’t break your Stalk.
- Stalk now removes all movement impairing effects on use (also, now it can be used while immobilized by default).
- Professional Stalker now also increases Stalk duration by 4 seconds.
- Judicator:
- Benevolence healing bonus reduced from 40% to 30%, cooldown reduction reduced from 4 to 3 seconds. These effects are no longer halved in 1v1 arena.
- Protect the Innocent passive healing bonus reduced from 50% to 40%.
New in Zeal 0.3.28 (Nov 5, 2018)
- General:
- Fixed a bug which caused players to sometimes spawn as the character they played before.
- Wizard:
- Dictate Fate now should correctly work if the target is mounted.
- Ranger:
- Fixed a bug which caused Poison Spikes to sometimes reach 2 stacks without Swift Strike.
- Bouncing Leap speed boost duration reduced from 2 to 1.5 seconds and it’s not longer affected by Intensity.
- Tech Advancement now increases Fire damage by 50% (down from 70%) and makes Burning Tar slow by 30% (down from 50%).
- Evasion cooldown increased from 14 to 15 seconds, cooldown reduction on successful evades increased form 4 to 5 seconds, damage reduction percent reduced from 45% to 30%, duration reduced from 4 to 3 seconds.
- Outlaw:
- Sucker Punch now makes Bash or Passivating Strike increase the damage enemy takes by 10% regardless of your position. Using these abilities from behind doubles the bonus.
- Judicator:
- Fixed a bug which caused Wrathful Hand to penetrate through walls and pillars.
- Avenging Flames duration reduced from 8 to 6 seconds.
- Judge-Guardian now deals attackers 10% of the damage you take (after damage reduction modifiers) as Holy damage instead of reflecting unmodified damage.
- Enigmatic Protection now reduces the damage you take by 10% (down from 20%).
- Healing Light healing reduced from 800 to 700.
- Piercing Light self healing reduced from 500 to 400.
- Benevolence now increases Healing Light healing by 40% (up from 20%) (halved in 1v1 arena).
- Protect the Innocent now increases healing by 30% (up from 20%) (halved in 1v1 arena).
- Witch:
- Malice damage bonus increased from 20% to 30%.
- Shadow Empowerment damage and healing bonuses increased from 30% to 40%.
