- New Feature - Spawn Invulnerability"
- Players now spawn with 5 seconds of invulnerability.
- Invulnerable players glow white.
- Casting abilities or dealing damage removes this invulnerability early.
- Items:
- Bug Fix - Vengeful now triggers correctly.
- Improvement - Selfless no longer teleports players to dead teammates.
- General:
- Improvement - Player movement around corners should be much smoother.
- Improvement - Minor tweaks to Veteran and Beacon textures.
- Improvement - Slight lighting rework for improved performance / look.
- Bug Fix - Camera movement using Minimap is no longer offset.
- VETERANS:
- General:
- Fixed a bug where characters were moving slower than intended. The value has been changed to accurately display character’s actual movement speed. The actual movement speed is unchanged.
- All character movement speed: 170 -> 120
- Berzerker:
- Bug Fix - Shields: 250 -> 0
- Heavy Charge Time: 1.2 -> 1.0
- Terminator:
- Heavy Charge Time: 0.75 -> 1.0
- Deepstrike:
- New - No longer canceled by stuns.
- Apothecary:
- Combat Injection
- New - Now heals Apothecary again while linked only to enemies.
- Retributor:
- Shield of Faith
- Bug Fix - No longer blocks Wrack melee attacks from all sides, front only.
New in Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena 0.5.2.1 Early Access (Dec 15, 2015)
- Fixes:
- SERVER:
- Bug Fix - Fixed an error where disconnects with the server were being labelled as ‘AFK’.
- Improvement - Mouse movement and basic attacks will now interrupt the AFK timer.
- Bug Fix - Various bug fixes to the server to improve performance. Fixes will also unblock development to fix more issues with Player Movement in the next few days.
- VETERANS:
- Improvement - Added Veteran footstep sound-effects.
- Bug Fix -Fixed an issue where bullets looked like they were not properly colliding with enemies.
- GAMEPLAY:
- Improvement - Removed player collision with Wracks, this should result in less chaotic bumping in bigger fights.
- Improvement - Wracks will not spawn until 20 seconds into the match.

- IMPROVEMENTS:
- User Interface:
- Improvement- Reworked the Veteran Select and Store screen layout. A brand new background scene for the Veterans and improved the side-panel to read abilities.
- Improvement - Added Tutorial to the Front End. Can be accessed from the Settings menu or via the new '?' button.
- Improvement - Tuned the metal relfectiveness of several Veterans to reduce excessive shine.
- Improvement - Changed the HUD functionality so mousing over the bottom bar no longer causes it to go opaque. Ability Tooltips will now be easier to read.
- Bug Fix - Fixed and issue where the Minimap was not scaling correctly.
- Bug Fix - Fixed an issue where the client was crashing on close.
- Gameplay:
- Improvement - Removed Spawn Corridors and relocated Spawn Points throughout the map more efficiently.
- Improvement - Changed Spawn Logic from spawning near as possible to allies to be farthest possible position to enemies.
- Improvement - Shop menu now pops up on death. Should improve new user Item acquisition to help balance gameplay.
- Improvement - Players no longer spawn automatically on death. Must click the Respawn button. Should fix issue with players being AFK farmed and gettign attacked while in store.
- Improvement - Added AFK detection for players in Veteran select. This will help reduce unbalanced team compositions.
- Bug Fix - Fixed several Tooltip formatting issues.
- Bug Fix - Fixed an issue where Attack Rates could be getting doubled.
- Bug Fix - Purged additional Heretics.

- IMPROVEMENTS:
- User Interface:
- Improvement- Added support for new resolutions. These can be viewed in Settings>Graphics.
- Improvement - Changed screen layouts so users with atypical screen sizes are not blocked from UI elements.
- Improvement - Set default camera to 'Restricted' (This will not affect current users, and can be toggled in Settings)
- Bug Fix - Fixed issue where Victory/Defeat pop-ups were not appearing.
- Bug Fix - Fixed an issue where Defeat was popping up after game incorrectly.
- Bug Fix - Fixed an issue where skins were not being selected properly.
- Bug Fix - Fixed an issue where Tribute amounts were not being updated properly on account creation.
- Gameplay:
- Improvement - Added minimum time between announcer dialogue to reduce audio clutter.
- Improvement - Replace Pulse Overcharge VFX to be clearer
- Improvement - Added new blood gib sfx to Wrack deaths on Critical Hit.
