  • Announcements:
  • Issues with audio and video options spontaneously resetting have been fixed, but will require players to set their preferred settings upon loading this version.
  • Balance Changes:
  • No balance changes for this release.
  • Fixed Bugs:
  • The End Turn button now allows player to exit Darius's initial Out-Of-Turn activation when all his Half-Jacks are already in play.
  • Pressing Enter to execute an action no longer ends the unit's activation early after using only hotkeys to selection actions.
  • The Report Bugs button in the main menu now takes the player to the Steam Forums.
  • The Objectives panel is now visible by default in single player missions instead of the action log.
  • Mission 4 of Dark Seduction now has more clear objectives.
  • Mission 6 now requires fewer Cygnar allies to survive to complete the mission.
  • The game UI no longer appears over the Mission 2 ending motion comic.
  • The Continuous Effects panel no longer appears over the panel showing the stats of a targeted unit.
  • The Targeting panel now scales to smaller resolutions.
  • The Action panel has been increased in size for readability.
  • The Clean Up Dead Bodies option no longer causes Sprint to not grant extra movement.
  • Execute button no longer spawns Alexia's Risen, preventing them from spawning in invalid locations.
  • Known Issues:
  • A small memory leak is present during matches. Should be fixed by next patch.
  • A patrol of Cinerators in Mission 2 will not spawn if the player loads a save from the middle of the mission.
  • Enemy Cinerators in Mission 7 may become stuck if the player runs their army to the mine when the Mission begins.
  • Framerate may drop or hang during the AI turn on Single Player and Skirmish Matches with heavy troop numbers or systems with minimum required hardware.

  • Announcements:
  • Dark Seduction has arrived! The long awaited tale of Haley and Deneghra is now available!
  • Captain Victoria Haley is now selectable for Multiplayer, Skirmish and Casual Quickmatch!
  • UI has been greatly touched up and improved with more art and smoother usability.
  • A New Action Camera now gives the player a cinematic, over-the-shoulder view when using ranged attacks and spells!

  • Fixed an issue where pressing the Escape key in the Squad Constructor could cause the game to crash.
  • The Enter key will now execute any pending action and confirm focus allocation.
  • Units will no longer play weapon swings and holster animations at the wrong times.
  • Units now enter a melee-ready stance when targeted by ranged attacks.
  • Units no longer do idle 'fidget' animations when in melee or targeted by abilities.
  • Stormcallers now properly aim at targets.
  • A number of abilities now have proper 'preparing' and 'executing' animations.
  • Using assault on a diagonal path to a target no longer prevents the melee attack half of the assault to trigger.
  • Magnus's Foecleaver now properly auto-boosts damage.
  • Alexia's Death Magic abilities have more detailed tooltips.
  • Alexia's Craft Thrall now places the Thrall Warrior in the same square as the Risen it replaces, preventing Thralls from being placed on top of other units.
  • Fixed an issue where the game could become stuck after a client player used Alexia's Craft Thrall.
  • Daughters of the Flame should no longer get 3 attacks.
  • Godhead no longer damages units using the teleport spell to move.
  • Flashbang no longer affects warjacks.
  • Fixed an issue where Mage Sight would not remove stealth in some instances.
  • Fixed an issue where the admonition spell could place units inside the same square as another unit.
  • Restored the Iron Fang's Dash ability.
  • Removed the unusable "Drive: Boosted Attack" from the Man-O-Kovnik.
  • Spells should no longer be able to target destructible objects.
  • A warjack's model will now properly despawn if killed while knocked down.
  • Players can no longer interact with the map or UI directly behind the "Are You Sure" dialogue boxes, such as accidently placing a new movement destination while trying to confirm a run.
  • Restored and updated hotkeys, and all action buttons have their assigned hotkey visible on the button icon.
  • Players can once again left click and right click directly on warjacks to allocate and remove focus.
  • Updated the spell icons with an additional symbol to identify upkeep spells.
  • Made action category buttons darker when they contain no accessible actions.
  • Abilities that cost focus now have a blue focus symbol on their icon in the action bar.
  • There is now a separate window attached to the unit card that shows active effects, which can be dismissed and restored.
  • Fixed issue where the unit card would not be dismissed after deselecting a unit.
  • Spells that do not inflict damage no longer have an unnecessary boost damage panel players can put focus into.
  • Spells now specify in their description if they are offensive or defensive.
  • Fixed an issue where Lines drawn to targets in range would not always draw to all valid targets.
  • Fixed an issue where the UI would not grey out during an action or ability in high lag environments.
  • Fixed issues where the focus allocation screen would not scale correctly in different resolutions and different numbers of warjacks and upkeep effects.
  • The Combat Log and Objectives windows are now larger and entries should no longer appear cut-off in some situations.
  • Fixed issues in the Tutorial where the player could cancel sprint movement and allocate incorrect amounts of focus, which would block progression.
  • Fixed an issue where canceling the first movement of the tutorial would prevent you from moving at all and blocking progression.
  • Fixed an issue in Tutorial where ending turn too early would prevent progression through the tutorial.
  • Added additional safeguards to prevent matchmaking from failing to connect to players after multiple sessions.
  • Players can once again select to move a unit immediately after selecting them.
  • Tutorial Prompts are now less persistent, such as giving a prompt about an enemy warcaster's feat when they appear briefly in single player missions.
  • Fixed an issue where some character voices were not being affected by the Voice Volume audio setting.
  • Players can now use Shift+Tab to go to the previous selection or unit.
  • Unit cards can now be hidden by pressing the I key.
  • Combat Log can now be toggled with the L key.
  • Added definition for the term "Battlegroup" to the glossary.
  • Fixed an issue where all defeated units would not always appear correctly at the end of a Single Player Mission.
  • Fixed Warjack names not always being capitalized in the focus allocation screen.
  • Pressing Tab no longer causes dotted lines to cycle through the squad list.
  • The Toolbox now includes options to activate the Measuring Tool and the Chat Box.

  • Single-player and Skirmish matches can now be saved and loaded!
  • A warcaster's control range indicator now updates its position when a player is planning a move, allowing the player to preview its range before executing the move.
  • Balance Changes:
  • DoomReaver health reduced from 15 health to 13 health.
  • Fixed Bugs:
  • Subtitles should now be visible on the map screen between single player missions
  • Measuring tool no longer requires tons of mouse clicks to use.
  • Alexia's Raise Dead, Boost Damage and Boost Attack abilities no longer considered spells and should not be blocked by abilities that prevent spell casting.
  • Depth of Field setting has been fully removed to prevent excessive blur on lights.

  • Twelve new warrior units are now available! 2 For each faction!
  • Cygnar extends their ranged advantage with suppressive fire and dual shots from the Long Gunners.
  • Cygnar has ordered its Trencher Commandos to slip in and out of the shadows and strike with deadly precision.
  • The Widowmakers of Khador have come to counter the long reach of the Motherland's enemies with traps and sniper fire.
  • Khador has unleashed its frightening Doomreavers, driven to berserker madness by their cursed Fellblades.
  • Daughters of the Flame will now weave and slice unopposed through those who face the Protectorate of Menoth.
  • The Choir of Menoth may now sing Menoth's songs to strengthen the warjacks of the Protectorate of Menoth.
  • The Pistol Wraiths of Cryx have risen to invoke the chill of death upon the living.
  • Cryx now calls upon the Bane Thralls to weaken and crush all life under their axes.
  • Boomhower Company Members now join Greygore to fight for the Mercenaries and any Cryx, Khador or Cygnar commander who can afford them.
  • Alexia Ciannor, Mistress of the Witchfire will raise the dead to serve the Mercenaries, Cygnar and Khador.
  • Those who oppose the Retribution will suffer an endless rain of arrows from their Stormfall Archers.
  • The Retribution now send their Souless Escorts to disrupt the sorcery of their mage enemies.
  • Casual Quickmatch squads have been updated to include the new warrior units.
  • In-game chat system has been redesigned with new art and improved functionality.
  • Victory and Defeat screens updated with new art.
  • New Advanced Tactics available for each Warcaster in the Unit Browser.

  • Rahn's Telekinesis has been split into Telekinesis - Offensive, and Telekinesis - Friendly.
  • Double-Handed throw split into "Double-Handed Throw - Targeted" and "Double-Handed Throw - Directional", the earlier being able to target enemy units and the later uses a chosen direction.
  • Fixed Bugs:
  • New drop-down menu added to the Unit Browser for faster swapping between factions.
  • Single Player missions will now be unlocked upon completing the previous mission, instead of after the new mission is loaded.
  • Solved an issue preventing cutscenes from being skipped.
  • Units hit with Critical Knockdown and Critical Freeze will no longer remain in the knocked down pose after they thaw and stand up.
  • Siege's Mage Sight can no longer be cast outside of Siege's control area.
  • The Hydra now correctly gains a free power attack when both its initial melee attacks hit.

  • The Holy Vessel passive on the Avatar of Menoth now sets its maximum focus to 4.

  • Ravyn's Vortex of Destruction visual effect now correctly expires when the spell is not upkept.

  • Cryx Reaper Warjack can now properly buy extra melee attacks after using a drag melee attack.

  • Jarok Croe's Shiv should now automatically hit stationary targets.

  • Fixed an issue on the Trainyard map where units could walk through the traincar doors while they were closed.
  • Large and medium base units now have less restricted movement around the walls in front of the deployment zone on the Cryx Depot map.
  • Trample attacks no longer have an arrow indicating facing at the trample location. Trample attacks do not allow for a change of facing at the end of the trample.
  • The Harbinger no longer has Immunity: Fire listed on her Unit Card.
  • The Butcher will no longer appear in a wounded pose during Mission 4.
  • Updated descriptions for Ground Pounder, Half-Jack Companion, Relentless Charge, Soulsplitter, and Ghostly.

  • Siege's Breach Feat now expires at the end of his turn and does last the entire round.
  • Darius's Pit Stop Feat now allows Darius to repair Warjacks that are not in his line of sight, as long as they are still base-to-base.
  • The Marauder's Combo Smite can now be performed while under Karchev's Unearthly Rage.
  • Ashlynn's Quickdraw now functions properly after the first instance it is used.
