  • Dear players! 8th anniversary of the UFO Online will come to us at October, 17. This date is very important to us all, and because of this we want to celebrate this day with our players! During the celebration days you will have a chance to find new random encounter that is taking place at the developers office. This will give you an opportunity to express your earnest affection (using rotten tomatoes) and get a schematic of the brand-new unique weapon "Neutron Grenade" (you will need some UFO debris to manufacture it) as a reward for your honesty. Also, during the regular battles with monsters, you will get a chance to find schematics of other models of unique weapon and ammo, and the UFO debris that are required to manufacture them. Those "Neutron Grenades" will be also available at the Premium Shop.

  • Every Saturday and Sunday experience, loot and cash rewards will be doubled!
  • Difficulty of clan missions was lowered approx. 2 times

New in UFO Online: Invasion Client 1.9.1.0 (Jun 5, 2017)

  • Difficulty level of the clan quests is lowered (approx. by 25-50%)
  • Shields now have Craft Bonuses
  • Shield modifications have been rebalanced
  • M class stims and medikits can now be produced at the Public Factories
  • Schematics for M class stims and medikits can now be found at the "In the name of Science" random encounter. This encounter is located at map B somewhere in sectors inhabited by monsters of level 16 or higher. Ufologist will no longer sell these schematics.

New in UFO Online: Invasion Client 1.9.0.2 (May 18, 2017)

  • All changes in this update are made in Clan Tournament subsystem
  • Clan level must be 5 or higher to participate in the Tournament
  • Each player has 3 attempts per tournament stage
  • Clans that won first 3 places cat take part in the tournament only after 1 week cooldown
  • Clans that take places from 4th to 10th in the tournament will get minor prizes (1 Token) but only if their tournament score is higher than 0
  • Players whose membership in a particular clan is less than 1 week can not take part in the tournament
  • Tournament subsystem makes attempts to create matches every 2 minutes
  • Note that Tournament rules are still under development and may be changed in the future.

New in UFO Online: Invasion Client 1.9.0.0 (Apr 27, 2017)

  • The clan system has some significant changes. Each clan now has a level that reflects its progress in the game. Clan gains a level when clan players are successfully performs clan tasks. The higher clan level is, the more slots for Clan Modules are available at a Clan HQ. Those modules give a variety of bonuses to all clan members.
  • Starting with this update, the Arena will host a clan tournament every weekend. Winners of this tournament will be rewarded with Tournament Tokens, which, in turn, can be exchanged for Clan Modules.
  • Players engaged in the production of equipment will now have a serious competitive advantage over Ufologist's goods. Each item produced by the player receives random bonuses, that will significantly increase item's parameters compared with the base item model.
  • Ufologist will resume buying organic components

New in UFO Online: Invasion Client 1.8.0.9 (Mar 30, 2017)

  • It will introduce the fourth level implants. As always, they can be obtained in random encounters or crafted. In addition, within a day from today's midnight, you will have an unique opportunity to find them in neuroboxes, and there will be also a chance to obtain full set of 6 implants!
  • Daily quests rewards have been re-balanced due to the fact that many players have received super-profits as a result of their abuses. We understand that the reduction of awards will affect those who play fair, but this will help completely "cut off oxygen" to cheaters and bug-users, which will ultimately positively affect the economic situation in the game.
  • As we announced earlier, Ufologist will stop buying organic components. The purchases may be restarted in the future, depending on the situation on the components market.

  • Implants that improve character's parameters:
  • You can get them doing random encounters or the "Underground menace" mission. For people who dont want to wait our Premium Shop offers implants box that contains 6 random 1st level implants. Implant that have been once installed can be removed using Neuromatrix. In this case it will not be destroyed. You can remove implant without Neuromatrix too,
  • but your implant will be destroyed. Neuromatrices can be found in random encounters and Replicator's capsules. Most rare implants in addition to their own bonuses have set bonuses: the more implants you install from one set the higher bonuses you will have.
  • New storyline quests chapter for 14+ lvl characters:
  • This quests are based on player's ideas and scenarios! To start this storyline you have to speak to the Commander of the Silent Hills.
  • Daily quests for characters up to 15 lvl on the map "A" and up to 21 lvl on the map "B"
  • Quest rewards and experience have been rebalanced:
  • Map "A": you have to speak to engineers Rabotin or Vorotin and to the miners near Riverside and Oil Creek
  • Map "B": take in the factory, workshop and laboratory, and also three entrances to the Foothill mine
  • New "Underground menace" mission:
  • This mission is designed for 5-6 players of level 14 and higher. It takes place at the Foothill mine. As the reward for success you can receive implants, their schematics and manufacturing components
  • New random enounters:
  • We have added seven new random encounters in this version. Some of them can be encountered all around the game world, some are region-based. Commanders of Riverside and Oil Creek have some information about that. If you will succeed in this encounter you can receive rare implants, their schematics and components
  • New achievements:
  • 19 new achievements covering different game aspects: implants, random encounters, drones and quests
  • Balance changes: weapons, armor, skills and many more:
  • A lot of changes in game formulas
  • Parameters of the most game items and skill are changed
  • Snipers have received long-awaited damage boost
  • Low-level characters parameter boost
  • Two new skill groups:
  • Ammo effieciency: novice, specialist, expert
  • Boosts ammo effects: shellshock, poisoning and damage vs. monsters. Before this update this parameters could be improved only by weapon modifications
  • Effects resistance: novice, specialist, expert
  • Boosts your resistance to shellshock, shock and poison. Before this update this parameters could be improved only by armor modification
  • Skills that are required to use weapons and armor are now have their own bonuses.
  • Camouflage now affects the chance to hit much more than before update. (If your camouflage parameter is negative you are easy target even at long firing distance. With high camouflage your opponents have much lower chances to hit you)
  • Until the end of December 2016 all players will receive free Reset Skills and Genetics once when log in to the game
  • Modifications:
  • New armor modification available - "Sturdiness". Improves health and medikits efficiency.
  • Modifications balance changes:
  • Now you can inspect modification parameters in an item info window
  • Many weapon modifications now have secondary bonuses
  • "Poison resistance", "Shock resistance", "Shellshock resistance" are now replaced by "Effects resistance" modification. All item that have one of the older modifications will be automatically converted during update. Modification modules will be converted too. Appropriate market sell orders will be canceled, modules will be converted.
  • Stims:
  • Stims effect duration is lowered (now typical duration is about 4-6 rounds)
  • Stims bonuses are now balanced better
  • Intoxication regeneration is lowered
  • Stims manufacturing costs are lowered
  • Long-awaited battle mode at the Arena - Capture The Flag:
  • For players who likes team challenges we are offering CTF battle mode. Here is basic battle principles: players are split into 2 teams, each team have their own red or blue flag initially placed on the special "base" point of the game map. Team goal is to capture the opposite team's flag and take it to their own "base". Goal will be counted only if the team flag was at it's place when the opponets flag was brought in. When one team makes 2 successful touchdowns this team wins the match. If team scores are equal and timelimit is hit the match goes overtime. At the overtime winner is determined by first successful touchdown or the frag count.
  • Security zones changes:
  • When wandering through low-security zones your character will receive "Risk and reward" effect. Experience and loot are increased 1.5 times, and you will loose only 50% trophy items (such as monster body parts or ore) when killed. Beside that, now there are green "safety islands" within the yellow zone. You can use them as shelters when you are at
  • danger of attack by other players.
  • Mining and manufacturing:
  • Ore mining balance fixes
  • ore amount increased an the North-West, North and South-West mines
  • Iron, Aluminium and Copper amount are increased at the North, South-West and Foothill mines
  • Monster levels at the North and South-West mines are increased to 15
  • "Martial Spirit" effect now can be gained in mines
