The Bottom of the Well Changelog

What's new in The Bottom of the Well 1.5.1

May 8, 2018
  • By popular request, I've now pushed a small small update that unlocks the resolution options in the launch screen for people with non-standard resolutions. You can now also launch it in Windowed mode, and freely resize the window: hopefully this will at least allow everyone a chance to make sure all of the bits and bobs of the game are visible at the same time.
  • Note that playing at other resolutions than the 'default' (1920x1080, at a 10:9 aspect ratio) might lead to various visual ugliness, such as the chat windows overlapping, font sizes between menu and dialog changing etc. However, the UI -has- been made to work with varying resolutions, and I tested it in Windowed mode, and you can stretch it quite a bit before it becomes unreadable.
  • If you experience any trouble with this update, please post in the Official Bug Reports Thread. Much obliged!
  • Other fixes to the 1.5.1 version include some typo fixes + you can now only actually break into Ches's apartment if you have a crowbar ;)
