What's new in Shadowverse 2.6.10 - July 29th 2019

  • This update includes the following:
  • New prebuilt decks added:
  • Eight new prebuilt decks can be purchased for 1200 crystals in the Shop. Each prebuilt deck contains 32 cards, 5 of which are legendary cards. Each purchase also comes with a bonus item. The content of a prebuilt deck can be checked and confirmed before purchase. Note that each prebuilt deck can only be purchased once.
  • Prebuilt decks have a six-digit deck code, which you can use to create a complete 40-card deck. While you can use prebuilt deck codes without making a purchase, please keep in mind that cards not already in your inventory will not be included in your deck.
  • Score Rewards added to the Shop:
  • The Score Rewards for July to September 2018 have been added to the Buy Supplies section of the Shop and can be purchased for 400 crystals each. Score Rewards will also be available to players who have either the emblem or sleeve, but not both items in a set.
  • Visual changes:
  • Giant Chimera's Fanfare effect will have a visual update.
  • New main story chapters
  • Gears of Rebellion: Uprising (Part 2) chapters will be added.
  • Vial bonuses will draw to a close
  • The vial bonus for Dark Dragoon Forte (effective as of the June 26 (PT) update ) as well as Heartsick Demon, Seductress Vampire, and Elana, Purest Prayer (effective as of July 10 (PT) update) will be returned to its original amount.
  • New feature in Open 6:
  • On the victory reward card selection screen, you can now see how many copies of the obtainable cards you already own.
  • Adjustment to the Temporary card filter in the card search function

  • In addition to the 97 cards above, two leader cards, Darksaber Melissa and Aisha, Underworld Sovereign will be included in Rebirth of Glory. Get the card to get the respective leader, emblem, and card sleeves.
  • Notes About Leader Cards:
  • The Darksaber Melissa and Aisha, Underworld Sovereign leader cards will be treated the same as the Darksaber Melissa card from Chronogenesis and Aisha, Underworld Sovereign from Rebirth of Glory, respectively.
  • A normal and animated version of the above leader cards can be drawn from card packs. However, there is only one version of the leader, emblem, and card sleeves.
  • You can only receive a leader, emblem, and card sleeves once.

  • We've added new ways for players to receive win streak bonuses.

  • Please note that if you were in the middle of a win streak bonus before maintenance, the bonus has been reset.
  • New battle stats feature:
  • You'll be able to see how many times you or your opponent have evolved, the number of times special conditions have taken effect, and other match-related information. Click on the battle info button on the left side of the screen during a match to access battle stat info.
  • Various display changes
  • We've made changes to the way the battle log, active effects, and leader effects are displayed.
  • New card trait: Levin:
  • The "Levin" trait will be added to cards from the release of Rebirth of Glory. This trait will also be added to one pre-existing card: Yurius, Levin Duke.
  • Changes to card text
  • The phrase "Whenever this follower attacks" will be replaced with the "Strike" keyword effect. For details, please see the June 14 "Update to English Keywords Effects" announcement.
  • One-card restriction in Unlimited matches:
  • A one-card restriction will be placed on Dark Dragoon Forte in the Unlimited format. For details, please see the "Changes to Cards in the June 26 Release" announcement.

  • Changes to the Korean version of the game:
  • If your voice and text options are set to Korean, some of the newly added content will play back in Japanese. Also the voice actor names will display the Japanese voice actor name in the card details.
  • The game will be inaccessible during maintenance. If you are in a match when it starts, the match will end in a draw. If you close the game or place the device in sleep mode when maintenance begins, a match in progress will end in a loss and will not be reversed.
  • Maintenance may end before or after the stated time.
  • It may take longer for some people to get the update. If you're not able to update the game, it may be due to the cached data on the device. Please try turning off and restarting the device after a couple of minutes and try again. Saved replay data will be deleted after maintenance. Please back up your game data in case your device is lost or broken.

  • Development Environment and Version Update:
  • We have shifted our application development environment from Unity 2017 to Unity 2018 after ver. 2.4.22. Application data will need to be redownloaded during the update. Please make sure you have a good internet connection while downloading the update.
  • Following the March 27 update, we are going to update our version requirement from Android OS 4.1 and up to Android OS 4.4 and up on Google Play. Anything older than Android OS 4.4 will no longer be supported by Shadowverse after the update.

New in Shadowverse 2.4.24 - March 19th 2019 (Mar 19, 2019)

  • In order to fix the following issues, we have released Ver.2.4.24 on Steam on March 19:
  • The game freezes on the title screen.
  • Animations lag mid-battle.
  • Card art is not displayed.
  • Incorrect file size is shown while downloading data.

New in Shadowverse 2.4.4 - January 10th 2019 (Jan 11, 2019)

  • Version 2.4.4 was released on January 10 (PT). The issue found in version 2.4.0 where matches would occasionally end in a loss when the game tried to load data in areas with bad reception will be fixed in this version.
  • Updating to the latest version of the game will become necessary after the January 15 (PT) maintenance.

  • ISSUE WITH PRINCE OF COCYTUS'S ACCELERATE EFFECT:
  • When Prince of Cocytus is played as an Accelerate card, Astaroth's Reckoning doesn't get added into your deck.
  • CARD EFFECT CORRECTIONS:
  • The following card currently has issues with its text in English. Its corrected effect is listed below and will be resolved in a future update.
  • Laina, Sister of Judgment:
  • The correct effect is:
  • "Fanfare: Give +1/+2 to all of the other weakest allied followers in play."
  • Blazing Lion Admiral:
  • The correct effect is:
  • "Rush.
  • Whenever this follower attacks, give all other allied followers +1/+1."
  • ISSUES WITH MUSIC AND CUTSCENES:
  • There may be instances where the music has static, or cutscenes experience blips or get cut off. This is caused by heavy load on your device's memory and can be resolved by shutting down other apps to free up space.
  • TWILIGHT QUEEN'S EFFECT NOT ACTIVATING:
  • When a follower with Last Words and a certain follower are destroyed at the same time while Twilight Queen's Last Words effect is active, Twilight Queen's effect will not activate.
  • Example:
  • Assume Twilight Queen's Last Words effect is active.
  • 1. Hell's Unleasher and Sinister Sarcophagus are destroyed by your opponent's Proto Bahamut's effect.
  • 2. When you don't have a follower that costs 2 play points or less in your graveyard, Hell's Unleasher's Last Words effect does not activate one more time and your leader's Twilight Queen's effect will be lost.
  • Affected cards:
  • Sinister Sarcophagus
  • Osiris
  • ISSUES WITH THE WINNER PREDICTION EVENT :
  • When you jump to an external webpage through the link within the event banner more than twice and then try to place your vote, you will get a message asking you to try again shortly.
  • This issue can be resolved by closing the message and voting again.
  • You can see if your vote was counted successfully by tapping on the banner again after voting—you will see an image of the player you voted for.
  • CARDS PLAYED FREEZING IN PLACE:
  • When you play a card immediately after attacking with a follower in play, and then open the Battle Menu while the card you played is at the upper left side of the screen, the card may freeze in place and become unplayable.
  • Example:
  • Assume you already have a Water Fairy in play.
  • 1. Attack with Water Fairy.
  • 2. Play a Fairy right after you've attacked with Water Fairy.
  • 3. Open the Battle Menu while the Fairy is at the upper left of the screen.
  • 4. The Fairy becomes frozen in place and is rendered unplayable.
  • GAME FREEZING:
  • When you play a card that returns a follower to your hand right after you play another follower, and the second card moves to the upper left corner of the screen, the game freezes and you are unable to continue the match.
  • Example:
  • 1. Play two or more Fairies.
  • 2. While the played Fairy is moving to the upper-left corner of the screen, you play Ancient Elf.
  • 3. The game freezes.
  • Affected Cards:

  • Fairy Torrent
  • You can resolve the issue by closing and restarting the app within the time limit. This will be resolved in a future update.
  • UNABLE TO RETURN TO SUSPENDED MATCHES:
  • Under some conditions, you may not be able to return to suspended matches. This issue was partially resolved in the June 28, 2017 update, but there is a possibility that similar issues might occur.

  • We identified an issue that caused matchmaking to result in an error between 11:13 p.m., December 15 and 12:21 a.m., December 16 (PT).
  • The issue has been resolved. As recompense, each player will be given a Grand Prix ticket in their crate.

New in Shadowverse 2.3.23 - November 11th 2018 (Dec 13, 2018)

  • The following issues are in the game as of December 11 (PT):
  • TWILIGHT QUEEN'S EFFECT NOT ACTIVATING
  • When a follower with Last Words and a certain follower are destroyed at the same time while Twilight Queen's last words effect is active, Twilight Queen's effect will not activate.
  • Example:
  • Assume Twilight Queen's last words effect is active.
  • 1. Hell's Unleasher and Sinister Sarcophagus are destroyed by your opponent's Proto Bahamut's effect.
  • 2. When you don't have a follower that costs 2 play points or less in your graveyard, Hell's Unleasher's last words effect does not activate one more time and your leader's Twilight Queen's effect will be lost.
  • Affected cards:
  • Sinister Sarcophagus
  • Osiris
  • JABBERWOCK, NIGHTMARE SPAWN'S EFFECT VISUAL BUG
  • When an opponent's Jabberwock, Nightmare Spawn's effect activates, it appears that cards from your deck are being banished. In actuality, your opponent's cards are being banished from their deck.
  • ISSUES WITH THE WINNER PREDICTION EVENT
  • When you jump to an external webpage through the link within the event banner more than twice and then try to place your vote, you will get a message asking you to try again shortly.
  • This issue can be resolved by closing the message and voting again.
  • You can see if your vote was counted successfully by tapping on the banner again after voting—you will see an image of the player you voted for.
  • CARDS PLAYED FREEZING IN PLACE
  • When you play a card immediately after attacking with a follower in play, and then open the Battle Menu while the card you played is at the upper left side of the screen, the card may freeze in place and become unplayable.
  • Example:
  • Assume you already have a Water Fairy in play.
  • 1. Attack with Water Fairy.
  • 2. Play a Fairy right after you've attacked with Water Fairy.
  • 3. Open the Battle Menu while the Fairy is at the upper left of the screen.
  • 4. The Fairy becomes frozen in place and is rendered unplayable.
  • IN-GAME MOVIE STOPPING
  • During the in-game movie, with some operating systems, we have found actions such as removing headphones or a timer/alarm going off may cause the movie to stop. In that event please use the skip button in the upper right corner to continue to the next scene.
  • GAME FREEZING
  • When you play a card that returns a follower to your hand right after you play another follower, and the second card moves to the upper left corner of the screen, the game freezes and you are unable to continue the match.
  • Example:
  • 1. Play two or more Fairies.
  • 2. While the played Fairy is moving to the upper-left corner of the screen, you play Ancient Elf.
  • 3. The game freezes.
  • Affected Cards:
  • Ancient Elf
  • King Elephant
  • Cinderella
  • Homecoming
  • Fairy Torrent
  • You can resolve the issue by closing and restarting the app within the time limit. This will be resolved in a future update.
  • UNABLE TO RETURN TO SUSPENDED MATCHES
  • Under some conditions, you may not be able to return to suspended matches. This issue was partially resolved in the June 28, 2017 update, but there is a possibility that similar issues might occur.

  • Cards not displaying when viewing past Grand Prix decks
  • Sky Devouring Horror's effect not displaying
  • Armored Troll gaining "Can't Attack" chains

New in Shadowverse November 15th Update (Nov 15, 2018)

  • The following issues are in the game as of November 13 (PT):
  • LAST WORDS EFFECT OF FOLLOWERS DESTROYED BY JABBERWOCK, NIGHTMARE SPAWN'S EFFECT NOT ACTIVATING
  • Some followers' last words effect does not activate when they get destroyed by Jabbewock, Nightmare Spawn's effect at the beginning of your turn.
  • Affected Cards:
  • Barbarossa
  • Dark Alice
  • White Wolf of Eldwood
  • Example :
  • Barbarossa gets destroyed by Jabberwock, Nightmare Spawn's effect at the beginning of your turn.
  • Barbarossa does not get put back into your hand the next turn.
  • GAME FREEZING ON ANDROID DEVICES:
  • The android version of the game freezes when it is launched for the first time after it has been installed.
  • You can resolve the issue by closing and restarting the app.
  • CARDS NOT DISPLAYING WHEN VIEWING PAST GRAND PRIX DECKS:
  • When viewing past Grand Prix decks, cards that have gone out of Rotation and aren't in your possession don't show up as missing cards.
  • CARDS PLAYED FREEZING IN PLACE:
  • When you play a card immediately after attacking with a follower in play, and then open the Battle Menu while the card you played is at the upper left side of the screen, the card may freeze in place and become unplayable.
  • Example:
  • Assume you already have a Water Fairy in play.

  • If an opponent plays Sky Devouring Horror after its in-hand effect activates, the applied effects do not appear under the card details.
  • ARMORED TROLL GAINING "CAN'T ATTACK" CHAINS:
  • Under special circumstances playing Armored Troll and a card that gives it Rush produces "can't attack" chains.
  • Example:
  • Play Armored Troll.
  • Play Executioner's Axe on Armored Troll and evolve Armored Troll.
  • The chains remain on Armored Troll even through subsequent turns.
  • The turn after Armored Troll is played, it will continue to have the chains effect but will be able to attack the enemy leader.
  • IN-GAME MOVIE STOPPING:

  • When starting a match, the deck used in the previous match occasionally gets carried over to the current match, causing it to end in a draw.

  • This update includes the following:
  • View past winning Grand Prix decks
  • View past winning Grand Prix decks from the from the Grand Prix Winning Decks banner on the Home screen.
  • Record/Watch feature will no longer be available
  • As Everyplay will no longer support this feature, it will not be available from the October 29 update.
  • Adjustments to cards
  • The following changes will be made to cards in this update:
  • Weathered Vanguard's effect will be changed.
  • Arthur, Knight King's cost, attack, and defense will be changed.
  • Galmieux, Omen of Disdain's effect will be changed.
  • Gremory's Enhance effect's cost will be changed.
  • Flauros's effect will be changed.
  • Darkfeast Bat's cost will be changed.
  • Yggdrasil's cost will be changed.
  • Godsworn Alexiel's cost will be changed.
  • For a limited time after the update, Weathered Vanguard; Arthur, Knight King ; Galmieux, Omen of Disdain; Gremory; Flauros; and Darkfeast Bat; will produce more vials when liquefied. Since Yggdrasil and Godsworn Alexiel are being strengthened, they will not receive a vial bonus when liquefied.

  • Vial bonuses will draw to a close
  • The vial bonus (effective as of the September 26 (PT) update) for Vengeful Puppeteer Noah and Nicholas, Stalwart Inventor will be returned to their original amounts.
  • The game will be inaccessible during maintenance. If you are in a match when it starts, the match will end in a draw. If you close the game or place the device in sleep mode when maintenance begins, a match in progress will end in a loss and will not be reversed.
  • Maintenance may end before or after the stated time.
  • It may take longer for some people to get the update. If you're not able to update the game, it may be due to the cached data on the device. Please try turning off and restarting the device after a couple of minutes and try again. Saved replay data will be deleted after maintenance. Please back up your game data in case your device is lost or broken.
