With this change it should travel farther before starting to fall allowing players to effectively place their Flare in a more advantageous position.”
  • Ice Staff:
  • Damage reduced by 10%.
  • “Ice Staff is meant to be a weapon that makes up for its subpar damage with an area of effect allowing it to suppress enemies around corners or land partial hits on a juking foe. However, it was still doing a little too much damage and has been toned down.”
  • Longbow:
  • Draw time increased by 40%.
  • Damage increased by 10%.
  • “The Longbow is meant to be a high burst damage weapon that rewards caution and precision. If a bow user is not prepared or misses a shot the long draw time is meant to be a dangerous penalty. However with its previous draw time it was a little too quick to prepare another fully charged shot, especially after juking with a movement ability. Now while the bow will do slightly more damage to compensate, missing a shot will have a much larger cost. Overall this equates to a 15% DPS reduction.”

New in Realm Royale Early Access 13 Mini-Patch (Dec 11, 2018)

  • Features:
  • Zeppelin:
  • The Zeppelin model has been updated to better match the interior model.
  • “We’ve had great feedback from you after moving players to a Zeppelin interior at the start of the match. We wanted to build a new zeppelin exterior that was not only more consistent with the interior we built, but is also more cohesive with the visual themes of the realm world itself.”
  • Runes:
  • Runes have undergone a visual update to make them more visually distinct from other loot items.
  • “Runes are a powerful addition to your equipment in a match, and we felt the presentation needed to match. While the Runes now have an improved visual update, they also now better represent the type of Rune. We hope this makes the experience of collecting Runes better while helping them stand out from normal loot.”
  • Chicken Nuggets:
  • Nuggets have been removed from drops within the game and from quest rewards.
  • "We introduced the Chicken Nugget currency system as an experiment to test collecting a new type of currency in-match. We appreciate everyone who gave us feedback on this system! Now that we are moving into the Beta phase with a strong content pipeline on the horizon, we are discontinuing the use of Chicken Nuggets as a currency in Realm Royale in version 14 in January. However, these Nuggets will be available for use until then. When Chicken Nuggets are fully retired, we will be using a conversion rate that we will announce closer to the patch date in order to exchange them into Crowns."
  • Gameplay:
  • Loot Goblin:
  • Improved UI feedback around Loot Goblins
  • There will be a text notification for nearby players when a Goblin is discovered.
  • Once a Goblin is discovered an icon will appear above their head for better visibility.
  • Weapons:
  • Throwing Axe:
  • Damage reduced by 3%
  • “The Throwing Axe is a powerful weapon that deals great chunks of damage, but it’s overall damage per second is actually low. This change will mean that in more cases it will take an extra shot to kill with the Throwing Axe. Having to throw an extra axe can make all the difference in a head-to-head fight.”
  • Venom Pistol:
  • Damage reduced by 5%
  • “The Venom Pistol is strong right now, but has also been very weak in the past. We’re going to keep an eye on this weapon and gradually adjust it until it is in the right place.”

  • Stone Staff:
  • Now has damage falloff over range.
  • Venom Pistol:

  • Fire Bomb:
  • Damage no longer scales based on target’s maximum health.
  • “It will now always deal the same damage to all enemies, chickens will no longer take less damage, warriors will no longer take more damage.”
  • Chickens:
  • Reduced chicken speed by 10%.
  • “While chickens should be able to escape with cunning play, it’s important that downing a player is a moment of triumph rather than a moment of frustration. Now the little cluckers will have to rely on quick wits, not quick feet.”
  • Potions:
  • “With this release we’re making a number of changes to potions. Potions will now lock out weapons and abilities, leaving players vulnerable, but you will be able to move around. The amount that potions heal has been reduced to make potions more individually valuable, especially Health Potions. Armor Potions are one of the most valuable drops in Realm Royale so we want to give players a more consistent path to get them.”
  • Potions can now be used while moving.
  • Potions can no longer be interrupted by weapons or abilities.
  • Reduced Potion casting time from 3 to 2 seconds.
  • Armor Potions:
  • Increased drop rate of Armor Potions from Potion chests by 100%.
  • Reduced the cost of crafting Armor Potions from 25 to 15.
  • Reduced starting armor from 500 to 0.
  • Reduced value of Armor Potions from 500 to 300.
  • Health Potions:
  • Reduced value of Health Potions from 500 to 300.
  • Forges:
  • All forges will now be active each game.
  • Environment:
  • Changed chest model from gold chest to normal chest.
  • Added Runic Stones to the environment
