Added test version of the upcoming Forgotten Temple (B2) boss:
This test boss features the first half of the boss encounter.
It can only be spawned by a staff member and will drop no items.
Fixed visual issues caused by the Fairy Pod item.
Fixed issues with the Verminios boss kill counters after a server restart.
Fixed players not being able to add items to their Buying List from the View Equipment window.
Fixed a bug that prevented players buying items from NPC shops under certain conditions.

Added the Attackers Chest:
Similar to Crystal Defenders and Luna's Union War, the Attackers Chest contains scrolls which can be used against enemies around you.
When an attacker kills a defender, there is a small chance of an Attackers Chest being dropped.
Unlike other Arenas, this chest can only be picked up by the attacker who killed the defender.
[Feedback] If the defending team is particularly good, the attackers have no way to progress.
We previously revamped the Dusk Crystal, which the defending team can kill to punish the entire attacking team. This works well to give defenders a way to flip the game, but it leaves the attackers with no hope if the roles are reversed. Now, attackers can collect scrolls from the Attackers Chest and use them strategically.
Luna's Union War:

Added two portals to the Attackers base:
Each portal will quickly take the attackers to the center-left or center-right of the maze.
Reduced the Dusk Crystal respawn timer from 5 minutes to 3 minutes.
[Feedback] The Dusk Crystal should have more of an impact on the game.
The respawn time for the Dusk Crystal was previously set to 5 minutes, meaning at most it could only be used once per Union Crystal for the attackers. We have reduced its respawn time to 3 minutes, which means it can now be used up to twice per Union Crystal.
[Feedback] Move the respawn point as attackers progress through the maze.
We decided that this was not a good idea, as moving the respawn point anywhere except to where it currently was would allow defenders to camp spawn kill attackers. Instead, two portals have been added which will allow attackers to quickly jump to different parts of the maze at any time.
Union War: Queue Options:
We've added an additional option for our Union War queue system which will allow more players to join and enjoy the Union Wars.
Option 1 - Kick balanced players:
This is how the queue system currently works. If Team A has 20 players and Team B has 15 players, 5 players from Team A will be kicked from the Union War to ensure the teams are equal.
[New] Option 2 - Distribute balanced players:
If Team A has 20 players and Team B has 15 players, the additional 5 players from Team A will now be distributed between both teams, allowing more players to be part of the Union War.
With Option 2, it may be possible that one team has 1 extra player than the other team. We believe this is unlikely to cause any real imbalance between the teams, so we do not see this as a problem.
Both Junon's and Luna's Union War have been changed to use Option 2, and we will perform further play tests to gather more feedback.

The Union War remains largely the same from when we remade it some time ago, with some small bug fixes and improvements based on feedback.
Edited the last boss of the Tombs of Sorrows dungeon:
Edited the 'Mark' phase:
There are now 6 Orb Stands located around the boss room.
When marked, the party must destroy all 6 Orbs before the mark expires or the marked players will die.
Edited animations and visual effects.
Fixed a bug that could cause the boss to freeze and stand still on the player's client.
Fixed texture glitch with the staircase in the boss room.
Removed the 'Sandstorm' phase.
Removed and reduced the size of some of the floor clutter in the boss room.
The boss should no longer reset unexpectedly.
Edited the Tombs of Sorrows dungeon:
Fixed bugs with the Moldie Mammoths that caused animation errors and them to get stuck at times.
Reduced slightly the amount of monsters spawning in certain areas of the dungeon.
The solution to the B2 Flame Puzzle will now be shown shortly after Tondro walks into the room.
Edited the Verminios boss events:
Added a 2 hour time limit to each event. Players will be kicked from Amentet's Sacrifices when the time limit is reached.
Edited rare secondary bosses, such as Belial Moldie Mammoth, to count towards the Verminios kill counters.
Players must have defeated at least 5 bosses, for the specific portal, to be allowed to enter Amentet's Sacrifices:
If the event is still active after 1 hour then any player is allowed to enter Amentet's Sacrifices.
Players will now be kicked from Amentet's Sacrifices 1 minute after the Verminios has been defeated.
Edited items gathered during Harvesting and Mining to drop on the ground if the player has a full inventory, instead of sending to their Premium Storage.
Edited the Heliopolis Coin Collectors:
Removed [Coin Collector] Ashai and [Coin Collector] Remmao:
[Coin Collector] Ottah will now exchange items for all types of ancient coins.
The reward option window will no longer automatically close, making it easier to exchange multiple rewards.
Edited the cloak colour of the Caster Vest of Rebirth item.
Fixed weapon effects not being visible on all Surfboard items.
Fixed a bug with certain Dance scrolls that caused the player to become temporarily stuck after dancing.
Fixed players not respawning with temporary invincibility after dying at Oro Clan Field.
Fixed the attack animation speed of Carts and Castle Gears being incorrect for nearby players.
Fixed the Treehouse Vending Shop not being positioned correctly.
Fixed Basic, Crafting and Passive skills incorrectly showing as muted when the player has the 'Dumb' status.

Fixed a speed desynchronization bug that occured if the player was riding a Mount whilst overweight.

Junon's Union War:
Junon's Union War has been converted to our new Game Arena system which powers all of our other Arenas. Whilst converting it, we've fixed a few bugs which we found and made some improvements based on feedback we received some time ago.
If you haven't played the Union War since it was revamped some time ago, we'll be including a full breakdown of the war below.
Junon's Union War takes place on an improved version of the traditional Union War map.
The alliances of the Union War remain the same: Junon Order & Arumic vs Righteous Crusaders & Ferrell Guild
Each team can have up to 30 players, with 15 players on each team being the minimum required for the Union War to start.
Team balancing is active:
Before the game begins, we will ensure both teams are equal in size. Any excess players are kicked from the Union War.
The Attacking and Defending team are randomly selected at the start of each Union War - there is no way to predict who will be on which side.
The status of each crystal and time remaining can be seen on the left side of the game:
Crystal icons represent each crystal objective. Grey crystals indicate that the crystal has been defeated.
The health of each crystal will change every Union War:
We take into account a number of factors based on the players who are in the current Union War, and use that to determine what health the crystals should have. This means that no Union War will be the same - some may be easier, some may be harder.
Attackers are given 15 minutes to destroy a Sunrise Crystal. After killing a Sunrise Crystal, 5 minutes is added to the game time. As they must kill two Sunrise Crystals to progress to the Sunset Crystal, this means that the maximum time Junon's Union War can take will be 25 minutes.
When the time goes below 1 minute, the timer on the left side of the game will turn red to indicate the danger they face of losing the game.
Defenders can kill the Dusk Crystal which will apply a random punishment to the entire attacking team, or the crystals which remain in the Union War.
When a crystal event occurs (such as a crystal spawning, a punishment applied, ...), a notification will be shown at the top of the game
Each team has a single portal which they can use to be teleported back to their base to resupply.
The winning team is the one which successfully kills the Sunset Crystal (which spawns after both Sunrise Crystals have been killed), or the team which successfully defends their crystals in the Union War within the current time limit.
The losing team will receive 3 Union Points (+1 with Devotion)
We will be performing a number of test runs after this update has been released, so the Union War must be started manually by Staff. Once we're happy with changes and feedback, we will request feedback from players on what the schedule for the war should be.
Lunar's Union War :
Lunar's Union War has arrived! Attackers must battle their way through a hexagon maze to kill Union Crystals across the map in a predefined order. This is a brand new addition, so please keep reading for a full breakdown.
Lunar's Union War takes place inside a hexagon maze, where the attacking and defending team start at opposite sides of the maze.
The alliances of the Union War remain the same: Junon Order & Arumic vs Righteous Crusaders & Ferrell Guild
Each team can have up to 30 players, with 15 players on each team being the minimum required for the Union War to start

13 Union Crystals are placed across the map. At the start of the Union War, Crystal I unlocks and can be killed. Once Crystal I has been killed, Crystal II will unlock and must be killed next, and so on.
The current Union Crystal objective is shown on the left side of the game, as well as the game timer.
Attackers are given 7 minutes 30 seconds to kill each Union Crystal. Once a Union Crystal has been killed, the game timer will reset back to 7 minutes 30 seconds.
When the time goes below 1 minute, the timer on the left side of the game will turn red to indicate the danger they face of losing the game.
The health of each crystal will change every Union War:

When either team kills another player, there is a possibility of an Alliance Chest dropping:
This chest contains scrolls which you can use against all enemies around you, similar to the Defenders Box from Crystal Defenders.
When a crystal event occurs, a notification will be shown at the top of the game
The winning team is the one which successfully kills all Union Crystals in the maze, or the team which successfully defends their crystals within the current time limit.
The losing team will receive 3 Union Points (+1 with Devotion)

Union War Rewards :
Based on recent player feedback to help lure more players into the Union War, we have added the ability for players to pick what reward they wish to receive:
2 AruaPoints (Available once every 24 hours)
250 Instance Points (+20% with a Instance Point Increase Medal active)
30 Union Points (+10 with a Union Point Increase Medal active & +4 with Devotion)
Union War Chest (150 Union Points)
Note: Whilst we test the converted Junon's Union War and the new Lunar's Union War, we will be keeping the Union War Chest reward selection disabled.
We will, of course, be monitoring the distribution of the rewards and we may make changes based on feedback or our own data.

Our weekly lottery makes a return!
Purchase a lottery ticket from [Event Info] Felice Fete. Tickets start from 1,000,000z and a single ticket can be purchased, or in batches of 5, 10, and 25.
Each Friday, all players who have purchased a lottery ticket for that week will be entered into a draw.
The top prizes to be won include:
First Place: 250 AruaPoints, 25 Event Points
Second Place: 150 AruaPoints, 15 Event Points
Third Place: 100 AruaPoints, 10 Event Points
We'll also be giving away consolation prizes to everyone who takes part in the weekly lottery. These will be announced at a later date once we know how many tickets on average are being sold.

The equip conditions of this wing are Reborn Level 10 and 200 achievements unlocked.

The visual effect is only visible on the item once it has been upgraded to refine grade 9.

The first hit and damage dealt by players are now tracked across the entire encounter for the drop ownership.
This means that waiting to land the first hit on the final boss of the encounter is no longer a viable tactic.
Edited and moved the following item drops:
Demon Clown Hat now drops from the Moss Golem.
Demon Cowboy Hat now drops from the Giant Anubis Mage.
Demon Crown Hat now drops from the Mummy King.

Removed the Level 50 requirement to enter the Crusader Battlegrounds.
Renamed Edeline's Backpack to Explorer's Backpack.

Crystal Defenders:
Fixed a bug where a capture notification for Crystal 0 may show after joining the Arena, or being disconnected and relogging into the game.
Arua:
Edited the Endure, Shield Barrier and Taunt skills so that they can be performed with a Magic Tool equipped.
Arena Parties
You can now join Game Arenas without being forced to leave your party. When you've joined an Arena, you'll be temporarily disconnected from your party whilst keeping your place secure:
Once inside the Arena, you will be able to form a temporary party with other Arena allies as normal.
Once the Arena ends, you will be reconnected back to your original party:
If you're disconnected, members of the original party will see the notification as normal. If you've joined an Arena party, your place in both parties will be saved as long as you reconnect within the normal party safe time.

The Birthday Event will take place on Classic's launch anniversary.
Edited Bonfires to have the same mechanics as Arua:
Bonfires have been changed so that they can no longer be clickable.
This means that you can no longer cast Heal or Cure on your Bonfire, but AOE Heals will still work.
This change has been done to prevent further abuse in PvP zones.

Corrected issue with Separation Drill dropping item on the ground when inventory is full. You must now have a free space in your inventory to use the Separation Drill.

Junon Cartel:
Junon Cartel is a PvP training area designed to give you a way to test your abilities against other players under buffing and consumable use condtions similar to Game Arena PvP matches.
Players entering this zone will be wiped of buffs, and no buffs or items will be allowed while they are in the area.
Junon Cartel will be the Game Arena conditioned equivalent of the Training Grounds, and features timed respawn, spawn protected areas and convenient methods of teleportation between spawn areas and the middle field.
Junon Cartel can be entered by speaking to [Righteous Crusader] Gawain in Junon Polis.
Paradigm Runes:
Paradigm Runes are going to be a new unique addition to your arsenal. These runes can be placed in to designated slots on equipment or weapons, with a new feature that allows you to empower them to become stronger. This can be done with rune by itself, and even with the rune in the weapon or equipment piece! No need to separate it from the item.
PvP oriented Paradigm Runes and basic tier empowerment materials can be purchased from [Honor Items] Henry in Junon Polis. Advanced material tiers for empowering can be obtained by completing Honor daily quests and participating in Game Arena PvP game modes
PvM oriented Paradigm Runes and basic tier empowerment materials can be purchased from [Valor Materials] Mason in Junon Polis. A number of unique Paradigm Runes and advanced material tiers for empowering can also be found in Game Arena dungeons. Advanced material tiers for empowering can be obtained by completing Valor daily quests and Game Arena dungeons.
To upgrade a Paradigm Rune, it can be empowered using the new Empowerment function offered by [Battle Merchant] Rena in the PvP District of Junon Polis.
Elemental System:
The elemental system introduces a new combat dynamic of strengths and weaknesses when fighting against monsters or other Visitors. Throughout the world of ROSE you will now encounter monsters that specialize in certain elements, and other Visitors who have augmented their skills, ammunition and equipment with elemental traits that can be countered with or resisted using opposing elemental types.
Elemental scrolls that allow Visitors to imbue their chest armor and weapon can be purchased from [Valor Materials] Henry, and unique elemental scrolls may be dropped by Game Arena dungeon bosses.
Skill Updates:
Various adjustments have been made to a number of skills due to the impact these updates will have on gameplay and skills. Many common tree requirements were removed to allow for increased build flexibility and potential for example. You will also see some adjustment in debuffs and cool downs for the same reason.
Buffs and debuffs now provide a secondary percentage based bonus that is influenced by base stats in place of the old static bonuses. This allows for buffs to make your character stronger in abilities that are their strength, while not making them overpowered in skills their class is otherwise not strong in.
Combat Mechanics:
Updated all base stats, All Stats, Enhance Damage and Damage Reduction stat types not have their value components treated as percentages.
Adjusted primary and secondary base stat influences on buffs and debuffs.
Critical Defense:
The offensive and defensive traits of Critical have been split into two distinct stat types to improve the dynamic of this stat. Critical can now be countered by Critical Defense, and while Critical will continue to scale with SEN, Critical Defense can be scaled to counter using CHA.
Taunt:
Taunt now forces the affected target to focus on the caster for the duration of the taunt effect.
Players are now awarded points for taking Taunt Damage in Game Arena PvP game modes when assuming their role as a tank to protect their team members.
Damage over Time (DoT) Skill Effects:
Scale with a portion of the caster's Attack Power.
Influenced by primary and secondary base stat bonuses.
Effects originating from different skill types can be stacked on the same target.
Reduced by the target's defenses, cannot be blocked, and can inflict critical damage.
Heal over Time (HoT) Skill Effects:
Are influenced by primary and secondary base stat bonuses.
Item Updates:
Adjusted Attack Speed scaling on several weapon items.
Adjusted Defense and Magic Defense scaling on several armor items.
Adjusted Block Rate, Physical Defense and Magic Defense scaling on several shield items.
Added Separation Drill to [Valor Materials] Mason's shop.
Interface:
Multiple visual and synchronization improvements have been made to HP/MP display updates:
HP/MP effectiveness bonuses no longer causes gauge display glitches.
Monster HP bars are now displayed correctly for monsters that have status effects applied that affect their Max HP.
HP will no longer decrease on the client side when GM invincibility is active.
Updated Game Arena group, party and character information windows and HUD elements to use smoother HP/MP gauge animations.
Added smooth gauge animation to Game Arena energy bar.
Updated Game Arena scoreboard to track and display damage received from attacker who has been taunted (Taunt Damage).
Added comma formatting to Zulie values for several system messages.
Updated calculator and vendor price setter windows to display text boxes with comma formatting.
Updated Invulnerability and Spawn Protection status mechanics to display "Evaded" when damage or negative status effects are applied to a target.
Updated status effect tooltip formatting, and added expiry timer information to Game Arena group HUD.
Updated vendor buy list window to display border around currently selected item.
Updated weapon item tooltip and character window to display Attack Speed as Attacks Per Second, and updated Attack Speed tooltip to display base weapon speed.
Moved "NPC Value" in player vend item buy list to a separate line.
Bug Fixes:
Added safeguards to prevent zulie and items from being spam dropped.
Corrected gender requirement tooltip display on Mr/Ms ROSE costume set.
Corrected visual synchronization issue with attack and skill range stats.
Corrected issue with equipment updates causing mount to disappear.
Corrected timer display issues with Item Mall and Premium status timers.
Corrected visual synchronization issue caused by costume weapon range of other characters being used for distance checks.
Multiple status effect updates are grouped together and periodically sent to clients to improve synchronization and performance.
Corrected issue causing vend buy list to not clear item price when item is disabled from view.
Corrected issue with All Stat equipment and passive skill bonuses being displayed in character info window as buff bonuses.
Refine Event:
To celebrate this monster of an update, from June 21st to July 1st, all refining success rates have been increased by 5%.

Two new items for the Pirate Event have been added:
For 250 Ancient Pirate Coins, you can grab the Captain's Eyepatch!

Item Mall:
The Captain's Booty is now available for purchase. The chest contains 1 random [color] ROSE Captain's Eyepatch, including the original, which is now named the "Pink ROSE Captain's Eyepatch"
There is Pink, Red, Blue, Gold, Green, Violet and a White ROSE Captain's Eyepatch.
And through discussion, we did not want to take away from the original item's value or impact, so we've added an Eyepatch for each stat.

Winter Festival:
We've changed things up a slight bit, because we've seen that some games are being heavily played while others are hardly touched. In an effort to bring a bit of balance to the rewards to each game, for their effort, the Winter Festival ticket rewards have been adjusted a bit, in the following way.
Lunaris RPS (Rock-Paper-Scissor)
Can only be played 10 times per day. Play attempts are reset at midnight server time.
