  • New Features:
  • Exploration! When required, your commander can now leave the boundaries of the Outpost and explore the land beyond.
  • The plot thickens! Stranded on the Outpost, beset by Mysterious foes, you must find the pieces of the Dropship beacon to escape.
  • New Hazards! Fiery Geysers, Frozen Rivers, Vicious Arctic Foxes and Massive Mammoths!
  • Fixes and Known Issues:
  • 99% of known crash bugs resolved.
  • Full screen still causes a crash.
  • Transitions between game and plot message screens are a little flickery.
  • Camera movements are too quick.

New in Outpost - Save Yourselves Demo 1.5 Beta (Apr 16, 2014)

  • New Features:
  • Save system, the game saves at dawn and again at sunset. Be careful, starting a new game overwrites your existing save!
  • The Commander has arrived on base! You now have direct control (no pointy-clicky for him) of your commander.
  • If your commander leaves the boundaries of the base, the camera will follow him. More on this later!
  • Order Phase added, due to feedback from players, holding space now slows time to allow players to issue orders and place buildings more easily.
  • Added a help button (little question mark next to the inventory) where various tips on how to play can be found.

New in Outpost - Save Yourselves Demo 1.4 Beta (Mar 29, 2014)

  • You can now upgrade your base via the inventory screen (the little cog at the top of the main screen)
  • Balancing. We've removed all of the money, supplies and items you had in the previous version. This means you have to be far more aggressive about mining for cash to spend on upgrades and new items, and more careful with how you use your available supplies.
  • Various new effects and GUI enhancements.
  • Various bug fixes.

New in Outpost - Save Yourselves Demo 1.3 Beta (Mar 25, 2014)

  • Fixed a major performance issue, all users and computers should see improved responsiveness and effects.
  • Added skill system! Your Staff acquire stars for performing tasks, 0 = no skill, 3 = max skill. Highly Skilled staff move faster, do more damage and improve the efficiency of the room they are working in.
  • General bug fixes
  • added some UI elements to illustrate when a weather effect is active
