What's new in MechFight Alpha 6

  • First version of Factory implemented, so you can design your own mechs. (Repair- and Damagemode, as well as UnitStores are still to be done)
  • Note: Mechs are saved in a new XML-Format, which is not finalized yet, so you may not be able to load mechs in future versions of MechFight.
  • In arena mode you get a chance to sabotage your enemies mech.
  • Adjust firing on terrain and implement collateral terrain damage, when firing on mechs
  • Implement destruction of internal components, caused by failed repairs or sabotage
  • Fix various bugs in damage model (e.g.: head damage causes pilot to loose original damage * 5 hit points; when arm actuator is destroyed, there is no need for a piloting skillroll; No emergency eject, if cockpit is destroyed from critical hit -> pilot dies)
  • Fixed a skillroll calculation bug, which caused different results in Mechforce and Mechfight
  • Updated Documentation to reflect the new features
  • Internal bugfixes
