- Gameplay changes:
- Shock rifle and rocket launcher projectiles now take on 75% of the player's speed when firing
- Helmet falls off if a large amount of damage is done in one go
- Torch used for lighting the banana cocktail is gone, now lit by the cigar
- Added coco flash weapon
- Picking up a second machine gun adds its ammo to the current clip rather than spare clip
- Amount of ammo in initial weapon pickup has been reduced for all weapons
- Player names are only displayed when the cursor is over their head
- Weapons are no longer automatically dropped when running out of ammo
- New features:
- Support for multiple themes, all block names have been renamed as a consequence of this
- Added new jungle theme
- Replaced light mapping method with a GPU accelerated version (should be faster)
- Added support for dynamic shadows
- Replaced GUI with a new version built using libRocket
- Minimap preview is shown in load map dialog along with additional information
- Player takes puffs on his cigar randomly while holding the banana cocktail
- Added chat icon above players heads
- Added option to choose sound output mode
- Added new death animations
- Players get gibbed with explosions
- Added option to turn off blood
- Five different bot skill levels introduced
- Added some more imaginative bot names
- Added block and triangle count to map editor
- Sound:
- Replaced all sounds
- Added music to splash screen
- Different sound played based on what surface the player lands on

- New maps: ctf-happyvision, dm-openfire, dm-stadium and ctf-core

- Bug fixes:
- Client join team messages not being displayed
- Bug when trying to connect to two different servers in a row
- Various optimisations and improvements to KongServer
- Fixed bug where it was impossible to rebind weapon switch keys
- Player now rotates to fly back away from the direction of damage
- Katana blade is now hidden when holstered
- Team Death Match scoring changed so that score remains constant when players leave/change teams
- Fixed bug where you can't create a server while attempted to join another server
