  • New Daily Quests provide an efficient route to success in Shadow Guard and, of course, more XP, Gold, and Nori!
  • Shatter Vases:
  • Were you slightly disappointed when you clicked a vase in raid and nothing happened? Well your slight disappointment is our severe emergency; Vases in Raids are now breakable! (and in rare cases mildly lucrative)
  • With Easter right around the corner, a long-armed egg may be tied to this and the tutorial heroes. We don't know.
  • Bug Fixes / Improvements:
  • Thanks to a more efficient asset loading method, Scene loads are now 4X Faster!
  • UI Load Times improved
  • Other misc performance improvements.
  • Known Bugs:
  • Faction Labyrinth Editor is down but should be patched shortly.

  • More emphasis on Strategy in Faction and Custom Raids. Faction Raid and Custom Raid guards will never be more than 4 levels higher or 4 levels lower than the attacking player's heroes.
  • More details in Raid history. View hero health and mana changes throughout the raid.
  • Bug Fixes / Optimizations:
  • Elite Guards now display proper stats in guard UIs and raid. Elite Guard level rings are also now visible in Raids.
  • More details on 'All guards of this type' owned on Guard Altar UI
  • Verbiage is more clear on Chest Item behavior in Multiplayer vs Campaign Raids.
  • Standard walk speed in Village is faster.

  • Sometimes the door going from floor 1 to floor 2 in faction raids does not open and you walk straight through it. (will be fixed next patch)

  • New Features:
  • Faction Raids! Work with your team members to design an epic Faction Labyrinth and wage war on opposing Factions.
  • Item Chests! Raiders no longer have only one chest to find. Players must now find a good hiding spot for their Item Chest as well as their loot Chest, and single player campaigns have several Item Chests hidden throughout.
  • Elite Guards! Max level guards can now be made super powerful with Legendary Essence.
  • Skill Breaking! Now you can build the ultimate Mage, Paladin, Priest, or Rogue by customizing skills for each of your heroes.
  • Labyrinth and Worker Den Icons have been redesigned to more closely fit the HoSG visual style.
  • Builders are now visible if you or a faction member are upgrading a Labyrinth or Den.
  • Level up! Experience potions can be found in item chests or purchased from the Village Apothecary.
  • No longer go in blind. Raid opponents' highest guard level is now shown on the Find Raid UI.
  • General UI and game polish throughout.
  • Bug Fixes / Optimizations:
  • Guard models in manage guards interface should now load properly when the interface is first loaded.
  • Players with large inventory bags or many heroes with many gems should experience less lag with loading these 100+ object UIs.
  • Cautious Optimism:
  • We are thrilled to bring you all these major updates, but are also fully aware of the bugs that may accompany them. We have done a fair amount of testing in-house, but we can never fully simulate what hundreds of real players will encounter. Please be patient and use the Bug Reporter in the settings menu to let us know of any problems you may encounter.
