You can create both male and female characters by individually selecting each feature until you find the combination you’re looking for. If, however, you’re not really sure of what you want, there are a few buttons which can solve that problem. With a simple click you can randomize items, colors or everything. It’s a nice feature to have since you’ll surely be more inspired when starting from something you kind of like instead of starting from scratch.

Since Anime Character Maker is designed to put together anime characters, you can’t really expect it to have a state of the art modern GUI. It comes with a simple and intuitive interface that makes it very easy to navigate through the continent and choose the pieces you want.

Apart from a general clothing and color randomizers, you can also roll the dice for individual categories. Unfortunately, there is no save function meaning that you can’t store the created character as a JPEG or PNG image. Your only option is to use the PrintScreen function and open the image in a separate editor. It’s a few extra steps to take but then again it’s better than nothing.
