When you think of the MOBA genre, the first name that comes to your mind (unless you are a DoTA 2 fan of course) is League of Legends. This title has been with us for several years now, and it shows no sign of slowing down in its ascension to the title of the most popular online game in the world, with local, national and international tournaments taking place each year. Of course, the secret to success in the gaming world is to be ever evolving, which is a quality that League of Legends has and is worth mentioning, thanks to the League of Legends - Public Beta Environment.

League of legends doesn't just dish out constant updates and then listen to the feedback (or in some cases, backlash) and then fix the problems. Instead, they created a whole different platform where users can test out all the features the developers plan to release before anyone else. There is no difference between the official game and the Public Beta Environment, aside for the fact that the PBE usually has changes that may or may not appear in the official game, depending on the player base's reaction.

Since the whole purpose of the PBE is to test any possible bugs and new content that appears, it goes without saying that the client gives users a large amount of credit and currency so that they can buy all the content that would otherwise be available only via real-world cash. As such, you'll be able to buy all the skins, icons, emotes and everything else for less than 1% of the original price while starting with an account balance that would otherwise be worth several hundreds of dollars in in-game currency.

As you play more and more matches in the PBE, you will without a doubt find bugs which you can report for investigations. While this practice might seem like a cheap attempt at having players do bug testing for free, those passionate about the game will enjoy being the first to test out the latest contents, and maybe form their strategies before everyone else. This is especially the case for soon to be released champions, items, or balance changes.

If you're a passionate League of Legends player and would love to bring your contribution to the future of this game, then the PBE is the best place you can start!
