But what would happen if you could step into the shoes of a star fleet commander, and battle your way through the galaxies for glory? This is exactly the prospect that Dreadnought offers, as it promises you command of a space armada of metal behemoths named dreadnought that will pave the way towards infamy.

The game boasts AAA graphics that will blow your mind, especially if you also have the hardware to run it at ultra high settings. With this high level of detail being available, it is no wonder that the developers wanted to use it as a way to showcase one of the game's best features: the ability to customize every ship detail. These include every aspect of your vessel, from weapons and modules to coatings and decals using different models and paint jobs.

Looks will not win you any battle, but the types of ships you'll be using certainly will.  As such, Dreadnought offers a wide variety of ships for you to add to your fleet, each with their own pros and cons, which include ships that offer heavy, assault, sniper, support or scouting capabilities, totaling over 50 ship models. Using the right ship at the right time will allow you to gain strategic advantages over your opponents, almost like in a "rock-paper-scissors' style.

While you are the sole commander of a fleet, you'll still need to join forces with other commanders if you want to withstand the most difficult of challenges that await ahead, and success in battle will only come when you work as a unit. With each victory, fame, and fortune follows, as you fight to grow your reputation, earn new ships and unlock advanced options to make your vessel your own. Battles are 8v8, meaning that a total of 16 players will be participating in each match, which make for impressive battles.

Dreadnought may not be unique in the idea it promotes, but the customization features and high-quality graphics make battles seem even larger and more epic than they are, making each match feel like a unique experience.
