Red Crucible: Firestorm

Red Crucible: Firestorm is a free to play game that tries to offer roughly the same experience that Call of Duty and/or Warface offer but comes out short by a lot. It’s a Unity powered first-person shooter that combines team-based tactical combat over several types of maps and gameplay modes but features a design that’s really rough around the edges.
Red Crucible: Firestorm has both strong points and setbacks when looking into general and detailed aspects of the game. Unfortunately, if you’ve played similar games, this one will feel left behind and shallow.
The good. The gameplay is easy to pick up and master because at its core, Red Crucible: Firestorm is a simple FPS with a multiplayer mode. You point a gun at the enemy and shoot, and if you miss, hide while reloading and start shooting again. There are extra maps to unlock, weapons to purchase using in-game currency, and no two games are the same. Probably the biggest advantage of the game are the graphics, which, being rather poor, allow it to run on weaker machines.
The bad: Speaking of the graphics, if you look into the details, Red Crucible: Firestorm has some big issues to solve. For example, for a 2015 game that you release to the public, you really don’t want the weapon to look like it was cropped from a low-resolution image and pasted into the game with no post-processing, in poorly implemented dynamic lighting. If the gameplay is solid, the fine touches on the design are bad.
At this time, Red Crucible: Firestorm is playable, but you might not find that much enjoyment in it. The stars of the game, the weapons, come in very limited numbers at first and they cost a lot to unlock. You do earn game currency according to your performance, but that takes time. Until then, you have to do with what you have, and it’s not even decent.
Red Crucible: Firestorm mistakes by adding a shop where you can spend real money to purchase new gear and accessories. It has a lot of issues to solve before it becomes a good game and because of that, it’s really not worth it when you can spend that money on a much better game or simply not pay at all and enjoy the other free alternatives.
To end, at this time, Red Crucible: Firestorm just tries. It has a functional state and is open to the public, but its development team needs to be careful. If they don’t start improving fast, they won’t go far with it.
