| Personally, i like some aspects of this new game but i also like some stuff from the original game as well.
Slender: i like the traditional charcoal scribbled notes. it is one of the said symptoms you get when SlenderMan has been stalking you: drawing or scribbling obbsesively. i also like the forest setting and it's "always watching you" feeling. This gradual mist was a nice touch as well. Another thing is that the music isn't too distracting or loud.
Sanatorium: i really like the way Slender pops in and out and moves. really scarry and cool. The setting for this game is really interesting. it doesn't have a "always watching" feeling but more of a "I'm around every corner" kinda thing. I also like the power surges and fickering lights. The static is less annoying as opposed to Slender as well.
i like the whole escaping idea. in Slender, though, it was a little more fulfilling in that the character woke up and all was safe. In Sanatorium, however, it just says those simple words "you survived." This is just a suggestion, but how about alternate endings? i dont know, though, that's just up to you. it is your decision :) |

| I extremely reccomend this game! It gets you on your seat even if your just watching someone play it! The great game easily is up to par with the original indie game "Slender". and The creator is being open-minded to his fans by accepting idea, advice, and many other ways to help out and contribute to the game. There will be 4 more maps coming in late August, and September (most likely). I do make videos about the "Slender series" on my YouTube channel, and I hope to support Marc Steene in the highest amount as I can! You can donate money towards the game and receive rewards for doing so. |
