the best strategy game ever.

Everyone with the problem that it shows the screen then crashes, make sure that you downloaded it into rome total war folder. When i downloaded it, it defaulted to saving it into the activision folder, but my rome total war was under \"the creative assembly\". After re-installing into the right folder, it actually started up.

I have a different problem though. I can get to the start screen, but i press single player and all the options (campaign, custom, historical) are shaded out and i can\'t click them? any help?

MAN!! I\\\'m having the VERY SAME PROBLEM!! The load screen pops up and suddenly it shuts down!! Crashes!! What should I do? Hmmmm!!

everywhere i look to try and get this mod i keep seein ppl saying start with a cleand copy and add the patchs and the it'll work. but i have a copy that has alrdy got the patchs build on to the disc and i am still having the same problems as everyone else. after i've installed it all it comes up to the first load screen then shuts down. and i just can't get it to load.

am i doing something wrong or does it just not want to work for me.

I am having the same problem as Shane. After installing rome total war realism 6.0. When i try to play it I get a message saying to put the correct disc in and restart the program. I have tried restarting my comp and putting the disc in but nothing seems to work. I did as you suggested and uninstalled reinstalled patch 1.2 then tried rtwrealism gold 6.0. I am running the eras version i believe is gold. Also have vista as my operating system. That may be my problem is vista but hopefully not. Can anyone help me.

This is an excellent mod to Rome Total War. I'm a latecomer to RTW so I'm learning to play. I had trouble getting it installed and running due to my own errors. The best way to get started is to start with a clean install of ver. 1.0, install patch to 1.2 and install mod 6.0 Gold. Use the downloads from Softpedia or from sites indicated on the rometotalrealism.org site. I had problems installing the patch and mod from other sites. The mod must be 6.0 "Gold".

what do you press to play the game?

after installing the pack as per the procedure, the game never starts. in vanilla RTW i use the crack file to run it. despite installing with crack & without crack, the game does not runs. please anybody solve this problem.
