Chicken Hunter

Chicken Hunter is an arcade game that has you pulverizing poultry with a shotgun. For some reason you’re bored at your farm, and the only thing you can do for fun is shoot down birds.

Chicken Hunter’s gameplay is simple in concept as well as it is humorous. Putting aside the fact that you have to shoot defenseless birds, there is quite a bit of humor to the game. Along with the comical look of the targets, you’ll also have to shoot them in some unusual circumstances.

For example, firing a few rounds into the outdoor toilet causes it to crash down to pieces revealing a little chicken that was minding its own business. Also, some feathery victims have a habit of hiding in unusual places such as thrown out stoves, broken down cars and a few more interesting spots.

In Chicken Hunter, you have just a minute and a half to shoot as many birds as you can. The ones that are up close and easy to hit offer fewer points than those that are a good distance away. However, if you want the big points, you’ll have to aim well and pick the targets fast.

Getting the highest score is the main goal of the game, after all, it is an arcade title. Having fun while doing so comes a close second.

The biggest challenge with Chicken Hunter is getting it to work. It’s an old game that might not do so well with newer hardware but if you can get it to run, it’s sure to help you waste a few minutes of your free time.
