In this one, you have to swap and match as many gems and create as many groups as you can in one minute and not a second more.

Getting a good score at a game like this can be hard enough when you get ten minutes to do so, but having to do that in a minute puts some pressure on. Not only do you have to spot and match the jewels a lot faster, but you also have to ‘strategize’ as you go. You have very little time to figure out if matching those three gems ruins another combination or not.

The gameplay is exactly that of a match three game, and the mechanics are also the same. It’s just that the pace at which you play is a lot faster and for those who enjoy the challenge, it can also be a lot more fun.

In most cases, you’ll get that big number one score by sheer luck when pieces just seem to fit one after the other in the cascade effect. Combine the luck with some skill and your chances of getting to the top get better.

The score you make each round translates into points, which in turn are converted into silver coins. You can use the latter to buy boosters that have different effects. They cost a lot, and after you buy one, you have to use it because it expires after three games.

To end, for the Bejeweled fans, Bejeweled Blitz should be a really nice upgrade in the challenge department. For the rest, it can be just another match-three game that’s fun to play and a bit stressful too.
