Animal Genius

Animal Genius is an educational title that is created to help children learn through a series of games. The goal to it is to collect all the animals by completing challenges and answering trivia questions.

Animal Genius is well-suited for kids who have just started using a mouse because that’s all they’ll need, to click. However, it also comes with complete voice acting which means that the child can hear the questions, give the answers and you can do the clicking.

The latter reduces some of the fun because all of the games are played against the clock, and the sooner they are completed the more points are awarded. You need the points to unlock the animals.

Animal Genius is designed to offer general insight and information about animals. There are not super miscellaneous facts about them, but some of them will be very interesting, especially for the little ones.

The game features multiple mini games that put the child face to face with different kinds of challenges. In one they can play as a lion hunting gazelle, another has them identifying animals based on certain facts, or they can identify the sounds they make.

What’s good about Animal Genius is that it offers complete voice acting. This means that every activity that the child engages in is presented by a female or male voice. Every time they give a correct answer, they get some well-deserved encouragement, and if they make a mistake, an explanation is provided.

Animal Genius is a bit outdated when it comes to the design, but it still looks good. For a child at least, the quality of the graphics won’t matter that much as long as they can spot the animals and identify them.
