Tricky Truck

Tricky Truck a driving simulator that puts you behind the wheel of a variety of trucks and cars and has you navigating some very challenging roads. Apart from delivering cargo through narrow roads on steep cliffs, you will also have to deal with the dreaded task of parallel parking.

Tricky Truck places a very big accent on physics and their proper use. As far as graphics go, it doesn’t look bad at all, but then again taste in design is subjective. Word and vehicle design have been kept rather minimalistic which left its developer with plenty of space and time to focus on gameplay itself.

Driving the truck is done just like in any other simulator, using the arrow keys to move forward or backwards, to steer and that’s where similarities stop. You have a different set of controls for the perspective on the truck and a highly adjustable driver view to look through.

Each level in Tricky Truck is different, unique in what you have to do and how you end up doing it. One level might have you perform a simple parking task, in another you need to jump over a concrete wall or navigate a very twisty and dangerous cliff side road.

Neither level is impossible to complete but Tricky Truck starts a counter every time you begin a round and since the best times get the best spots in leaderboard, it pushes you in an arcade specific manner to hurry up. And, in doing so, you make a lot hilarious mistakes.

Moreover, the game also comes with a level editor which you can use to create some of the most annoying things you can think of and challenge your friends to complete them.

On a closing note, Tricky Truck is a really good game to have if you’re into trucks and off-roading. Variety is there for you to enjoy and you also have the freedom to devise the most challenging courses you can imagine.
