Plants Vs. Zombies Game of the Year Edition
A tower defense type game where you get to plant shooting plants and take out the zombies. #Plants vs zombies #Shoot zombie #Tower defense #Plant #Zombie #Shoot
Zombies are used as cannon fodder in movies and video games on a regular basis, thanks to their easy-to-understand motives and lack of emotional attachment. Although they are mostly vicious creatures that cause people to run and scream, Plants Vs. Zombies pictures them in a very silly manner and makes them seem very easy to put down.
Thus, flowers and plants can be used to neutralize their disorganized attacks, turning a garden into the ultimate zombie defense fortress. Thanks to various kinds of attacks and ways they can inflict damage on the undead, every type of flower has different purposes, depending on how you are trying to stop the invasion.
In order for you to be able to plant them, a lot of precious sunlight is required in the process. Due to the fact that the entire action takes place outside, there isn't any shortage of that, making it rather easy to obtain the energy needed to sustain your garden. Sunflowers can be used to increase the influx of light as well, which in turn allows you to grow more plants and better fortify your line of defense against the charging zombie army.
The game acts and feels like a regular tower defense title, although it is filled with a lot more humor and it features a slightly lower difficulty bar, to accommodate casual players as well. Despite that, as you progress through the levels and advance further and further into the game, it becomes more and more challenging to keep the undead away, especially when it comes to the massive hordes that make their appearance at the end of each round.
From a technical standpoint, the game features very simple, but detailed graphics, with every plant and zombie carefully drawn to look as silly as possible. Moreover, each zombie has a few recorded lines they let out every now and then, most of which involve their hunger for brains and a couple of hilarious threats.
Despite the fact that it may look childish at a first glance, a second glance does not usually come for a few hours, since Plants Vs. Zombies immediately captivates your attention and you lose track of time. Thus, the game is definitely worth it, if only to unwind after a hard day of work.
