Air Shark 2

Air Shark 2 is an action game that lets you pilot one of several military helicopters and take on countless types of enemies across a multitude of environments. There are gun upgrades to get, different types of rockets to equip and a lot of enemy fire to dodge.

Air Shark 2 isn’t a helicopter combat simulator, it’s more of an arcade shoot’em up. Your flying machine is viewed from a backwards-top perspective and you only get to control side to side and front to back movement as altitude remains constant throughout the game.

Each level comes as a new mission with its own objectives but it pretty much comes down to destroying everything from helicopters to aircraft carriers and storage facilities. In Air Shark 2 there will never be a shortage of stuff to shoot and that applies to each mission and its entire length.

You will constantly have the fire key pressed while also releasing a sturdy rocket barrage at your enemies.

Air Shark 2 comes with intuitive and responsive controls that let you focus on what you're shooting at and what’s hooting at you. It’s not that easy to keep track of enemy fire but if you get hit, there are plenty of helicopter repair power ups to pick up, if you reach them in time.

Main and secondary weapons can be upgraded to new ones and switching between them is done with a press of a button. There are several types of weapons to collect and each one will prove especially useful in certain cases.

To wrap it up, Air Shark 2 is by all means a fun game to play. Its graphics and effects are not the best out there but they’re pretty good and since the game runs so smooth, you’ll hardly feel that that’s a setback.
