New in Savage Hunt & Dragon's Prophet 04.10 (Oct 23, 2018)

  • As already mentioned in the last patch notes, two things are waiting for you today:
  • The Island of Lost Souls
  • The Column of the Prophets
  • You need both to get parts for your Laedis Hero set.
  • We start with the pre-event for the Island of Lost Souls. Look out for special public events!
  • Island of Lost Souls:
  • On the Path of the Elders in Artecia you can easily choose the island as your destination with the Dragon Spirit (provided it is active, of course).
  • There you can get all kinds of rewards by completing the active event.
  • However, the island is only active every other week - it alternates with the Column of the Prophet.
  • Column of the Prophets:
  • Right in the center of Artecia you can find the "entrance" to the column.
  • Once there, you will have to pass several levels with different challenges. A variety of monsters, bosses and combat challenges await you there.
  • Just like the island, the column is only active every 2 weeks, so you can always only do one of them.

  • Fiery Phoenix Costume & Ravenstorm Costume can now be delivered.
  • Added a second confirmation window to the „Teleport to Arteicia“-Button:
  • „You will be teleported to Laedis' main city Arteicia. This area has enemies above Level 30. It's very dangerous if your level is not high enough! Are you sure you want to go there?”
  • Added an option which allows to choose whether the world map should close automatically when the character is moved. “Auto-close” is selected by default. The option is located in the map settings in the right top corner of the world map. From now on, you can also adjust the transparency of the world map there.

  • Dragons
  • Eseriel Frostshadow:
  • The random attributes of the dragon can now not be lower than 3 (main attribute) and 3.50 (special attribute).
  • The dragon from an unhatched egg can now reach the maximum values of the attributes.
  • Dungeons
  • Corzine:
  • The gate of the colosseum is opened once the boss was killed. In the past, however, you could still not pass. Now fixed.
  • Nukleus of Time:
  • Darkrush the Petrified could get stuck. Now fixed.
  • Mictlan's Corridor:
  • Rockbone Assault Dragon could now and then cast a skill which killed players immediately. Now fixed.
  • Asuma‘s Mirage:
  • The death of the suicide beetles that were summoned by a Dream-eating Beetle will no longer count as a kill for the player.
  • Column of the Prophet:
  • Elite mob „Ice Headhunter“: The effect „Weak“ of the skill „Weak Shot“ didn’t work as intended. Now fixed.
  • Deyarka Bastille:
  • Quest „Bio Hazard“:
  • Under certain circumstances, the monsters killed didn’t always count for the quest. Now the terms of the quest have been adjusted so that there’s a certain tolerance.
  • When the effect „Poison Pollution“ was active, the HP of the player were reduced instead of added when he used a healing potion. This won’t happen again after the fix.
  • Skills
  • Guardian:
  • Skill „Dexterity”: The regeneration effect for action points could be triggered multiple times with the help of other skills like “Blessing of Fadero”. Now action points can only be regenerated when a target is hit.
  • Ranger:
  • Skill „Annihilation Sphere“: The skill wasn’t displayed in the skill combo interface. Now it is listed together with its cast effect.
  • Oracle:
  • Tidal Territory (left): The tip of how to escape from the movement-impairing effect was shown only after the player had already escaped from it. Now it will be visible during the actual effect time.
  • Tidal Territory (right): At level 2-4 this skill didn’t have a description in the mastery interface. Furthermore the information regarding the maximum targets was wrong. Now fixed.
  • Items
  • Unhatched Egg Restoration Liquid:
  • After using the liquid, the unhatched egg will now have an incubation period of 11 days instead of only 7 days.
  • Auratian Pathfinder Cloak:
  • The cloak has got his original appearance back. It will no longer look like the Styx Skeleton Wings.
  • Black Tower Defender's Uniform:
  • After removing the disguise, there is now a cooldown of 1 second until you can put it on again.

  • Public Encounter in Wynnadia – „Stub the Rusty Toe“:
  • At the beginning and at the end of the event, an NPC message was displayed as an error message. Now the correct text will be displayed.
  • Quest in Thadrea – „Shining Gold Altar Investigation“:
  • Windelle doesn’t appear in her position as long as certain pre-quests have not been completed. Now the quest can’t be accepted before those pre-quests have been completed (Cursed Crystal, Rescue Trapped Chacha the Rockclimbing Mouse, Rescue Trapped Kiki the Rockclimbing Mouse, Rescue Trapped Jiji the Rockclimbing Mouse).
  • Daily Quest in Sitheran – „Enemy's Medicine Supplies“:
  • The rewards for this quest didn’t include Dragon Insignias. Now fixed.
  • Miscellaneous
  • Midas Moonlight Event „Misty Hill“:
  • Corrected transposed digits in the countdown text (5-3-4-2-1 minutes).
  • Mounted Combat:
  • If a player below level 30 tried to use mounted combat, an error message was displayed. Now the correct warning text will be shown.

  • Reverted changes to healing spells: Holy Bolt, Healing Shot, Holy Swirl, Healing Veil skill range adjusted back to its original. Frozen and Life Recovery can now be casted when stunned.

  • Use this item to get skill "Ultimate Bodyguard" that increases 300% aggro for 20 second

  • Fixed the Sitheran wild patrol dragon “Twinhead” movement and roar error.
  • Fixed the Thadrea side quest “Cursed Crystal”, where the monster Beastmother does not spawn so players cannot finish the quest. The HP of the Beastmother has also been lowered to lower quest difficulty.
  • Fixed the Inartia side quest “Emergency Treatment”, where if player’s backpack is full, a message will display that the Emergency Equipment was obtained, but the player will not get it. Now players will receive a message asking them to clean their backpack to receive the item.

  • Fixed a bug where the ranking list interface will not open if the window resolution is too small.

  • During Territory War PvE, non-habitants that are attacked by Air Defense Cannon can attack other players. Now fixed, after fix, Air Defense Cannon won’t attack players during non-war time.

  • Fixed an issue with the Sitheran Public Event “Sitheran War” where the “Black Doom Dragon” gets stuck, and is not able to be attacked when led to somewhere downhill.
  • Changed the Exploration and Reputation goal of the Sitheran Exploration achievement “Enter the Land of Death”, from 1700 to 1500.
  • Resolved an issue where the “riding speed potion” effect was not working in the Sky Islands when there wasn’t a Territory War activated. Resolved an issue where the Oracle skill “Flash Shadow” causes Stun on bosses and is not affected by Spirit Shield. The skill description has been changed.

  • Fixed an issue with Sitheran quest “Rescuing the Gleamers”. After using Corrupted Gleamer Antidote on Corrupted Gleamer, Corrupted Gleamer has a chance of becoming friendly NPC. Now fixed, Corrupted Gleamer won’t become friendly NPC.
  • Fixed an issue with Thadrea side quest “Strengthen the Magic Circles”. Item description of Aqua Dragon Spirit Crystal, Jerud Soldier's Skull, Voodoo Doll shows Strengthen the Magic Circles as unknown quest.
  • Fixed an issue where Guild Achievement “Thadrea Objectives” cannot be obtained after killing Aggregation of Wraiths.
  • Fixed an issue with the Sitheran Public Event ‘Carrion Marsh's Raid’. Blood-devil Sentry was getting attacked and killed by mobs, therefore players couldn’t finish the quest.
  • Items:
  • Fixed an issue where players could take the any storage item out of the Warehouse Manager with items in, losing the items in the process. Now it is not possible to take out if this is the case, until the player pays for a new home.
  • Increased the amount of level 105 blue recipes uses, from 5 to 20.
  • In Thadrea and Sitheran, some green equipment recipes have a 20 use limit. Now fixed, they will have no use limit.
  • Fixed an issue where after returning a dragon to a dragon egg, if players give the egg to other characters of the same account through the Bank or House Storage Chest, that character cannot get related achievements.
  • User Interface:
  • Fixed an issue with Prophet's Curiosity Shop, where the bookmark showed the wrong location for hidden chests in Inartia.
  • Fixed an issue where after moving a dragon soul skill to hotkey bar, when taming a new dragon with a dragon soul skill, the dragon soul points will be reset at the moment the new dragon is tamed.
  • Dragon Evolution and Dragon Stable UI distance adjusted.
  • In Korhala, the shop window of Hanquik Merchant Bubul closes itself because he is walking. Now fixed, Bubul will stop walking.
  • Fixed an issue where Dima Town Bank Clerk didn’t have an icon and name.
  • Fixed an issue where In Arteicia, players could only interact with the Alchemy Station if their character was outside the tent.
  • Fixed an issue where ”Shrine of Methus” characters were too big on Inartia world map, now adjusted.

  • Fixed an issue where players cannot enter Auratian Championship if they choose auto challenge at the register phase.

  • Known Issues:
  • There are some quest NPCs towards the end of the new zone who will give out system strings instead of text in the correct language. This will be fixed in the next patch.

  • User Interface:
  • Added guild title tips to Guild UI.
  • Fixed an issue where there were too many currencies for the currency interface. You can now scroll down to see more.
  • Before, if players were to exceed the maximum currency, the transaction would fail. Now, if the player earns the currency through a quest, they will receive the amount that takes them to the limit, and the rest will be ignored. If gained through mail, trade or NPC shop, the trade will fail and a warning message will appear.
  • Added a scroll bar to Battleground window.
  • Resolved an issue where if players move their dragons to the lair from the stable, and then back to the stable again, then some Dragon Soul Skills become red and unusable.
  • Added a warning message when players change the texture quality in-game, stating the game will be required to restart.
  • Resolved an issue where using more than 20 emoticons in the chat window will sometimes cause the game to crash.
  • Stamina Points and Mounted Combat Stamina info added to character UI (Other Abilities) Players can now see the Diamond prices when opening the Furniture bag.
  • Resolved an issue where after expanding a Dragon Shard slot, UI shows “Dragon Shard slots cannot be expanded”.
  • Fixed the tooltip that told players how many Dragon Elements they’d need to level up a Dragon Evolution Skill. Players now cannot click on the button when they have reached the level.
  • Graphical Bugs:
  • Fixed the issue that players were oblique as they ride Utyon and press W twice to speed up.
  • Fixed an issue where characters won’t close their eyes when asleep.
  • Fixed texture problems when riding dragon ‘Utyon’.
  • Items:
  • Altered previous attribute stone name (ability didn’t change) to avoid confusion. Example: Strength I => Strength Attribute Stone (Basic)
  • Fixed the problem where players couldn’t search for items in their dragon lair storage.
  • Attribute Stones which could only be used on equipment under lvl 100 can now be used on equipment lvl 102 and under.
  • Deyarka Bastille:
  • Changed position and spawn requirements of Golden Emperor in Deyarka Bastille.
  • Fixed tooltip error of dungeon difficulty description of Deyarka Bastille, now suggests 10 players instead of 5.
  • Made changes to “Mephitis” in Deyarka Bastille; will now affect dragon mounted speed.
  • Dragons:
  • Dragon Evolution skills can be levelled up directly now.
  • Resolved an issue with mounted skills in the PvP Battleground, where players could only use PvE mounted skills, not PvP.
  • Added unhatched dragon eggs in Thadrea which can be obtained by collecting or defeating monsters:

  • Resolved the issue where you get no title from an Unhatched Dragon Egg when it hatches an exclusive dragon, including: Unhatched Egg of Elaris the Enchantress, Unhatched Egg for Sylvaran, Unhatched Egg for Kryon and Unhatched Egg for Utyon.
  • Quests:
  • Fixed an issue where if players had abandoned or didn’t accept the quest “The Key to Mount Sorthina” in the Vilewing Drakento’s Blood Band quest line, then if they completed “Son of the Ring Casting Master”, they couldn’t get “The Key to Mount Sorthina” again.
  • Fixed an issue with a refining quest, where when players tried to exchange 30 ‘Ice Dragon Power’ for ‘Pure Ice Dragon Crystal’ with NPC Larry Silonis, the option does not appear even when the players have 30 Ice Dragon Power.
  • This issue will also be fixed for ‘Creation Dragon Soul’s Core’, ‘Lava Dragon Power’ and ‘Dragon Spell Energy Transformation Liquid’.
  • Resolved an issue with the Wintertide quest “In the Mountains”, where it had no map icon. Now added.
  • Resolved an issue with the Wintertide hidden quest “Born of Ice and Snow”. Its item ‘frozen fur’ used to show that it’s not related to the quest.
  • Miscellaneous:
  • Made changes to the World Event Island of Lost Souls, it will now spawn less Explosive Eggs.
  • Fixed the problem that changing the Guild leader didn’t update the relevant alliance leader info.
  • Weaponsmith and Armorsmith lvl 102 recipes added: white weapon, armor, and dragon equipment recipes.
  • Added a message showing players which side they joined after entering Groll Canyon.
  • Fixed an issue where Toughness influences healing skills effect.
  • Resolved an issue where PvP status wouldn’t change correctly when you enter the Mine from the Sky Island.

  • Fixed bug of Soulbloom Parasite, it now reduces dragon soul points instead of giving them
  • Fixed Swiftfoot Dragon mounted PVP skill, where it would cause damage to an invincible target.
  • While mounted, ”Toughness Barrier” display was wrong, now fixed. If a character doesn’t have Toughness, then the dragon will not recieve 10 Toughness.
  • New Toughness effect (resistance to explosion and piercing) added on dragon (same as for characters).
  • Fixed an issue where there was no evolution effect on Opal Fortune.
  • Attributes:
  • Resistance stats adjusted. Player’s lowest resistance can now be below 0. When their resistance is a minus number, they will take extra attribute damage, with a maximum of 50%.
  • Adjusted “Toughness” function, now added ‘resistance critical hit rate’ and ‘resistance penetration’ ability to Toughness
  • Quests:
  • Fixed issue with NPC Wenda Zindrel where players were not able to kill her.
  • Fixed a bug in the mode “Blow Wind Blow “ in Column of the Prophet. The tornadoes were catching dragon owners too when their dragon got caught, now it will only catch the dragon.

  • Column of the Prophet:
  • Ranking and Dragonscale Seal Quartermaster added. Seal Quartermaster is located in Skyhammer Headquarters in Arteicia. Players can exchange Dragonscale Seal rewards with this NPC.
  • Column of the Prophet will be activated once every two weeks
  • Each first week will be ”activated”, and the next will be “deactivated”. This is repeated every fortnight.

  • Guild Welcoming System:
  • Provides benefits for both newbies and experienced players for joining a guild: Experienced players get benefits for helping newbies, and the guild also gets benefits. The system will prevent veteran players from creating twinks for exploitation.
  • If you are in a party with a character over lvl 60, all party members can stack a 20-min buff when defeating a dungeon boss; Dragon Runes and Dragon Elements will be given according to character’s level and amount of boss’s buff.
  • Guild also gets related guild rewards e.g. war points and guild points when characters reach lvl 90, and the character itself gets a rare dragon egg as a gift for the effort.
  • Bug Fixes:
  • The quest “We need more information!” is now correctly categorized as being for Auratia.
  • Resolved an issue during siege war where the “Resource Points” from ore collection were incorrect.

  • Fixed a bug with the dragon skill “Will to Live” so that it can successfully block one lethal attack. Previously if the enemy’s attack was too strong, it would stop the dragon from triggering this skill correctly and the dragon would die.
  • Fixed a bug for the achievements “Treasure Hunter” and “Azores’ Treasure” so that now when a player has over 2 Holy Relics of Occultist Azores, it will not be active, and players will receive a tip saying that the Holy Relics of Occultist Azores need more time to recover power.

  • Players will be able to talk to Logistics Caravan Clerks in Arteicia for Logistics Merchants to appear in their alliance-owned Sky Island(s). The merchant will appear on a random island and will stay in front of the main castle square for a specific time or until a Territory War starts. There are two different kinds of Logistics Merchants, the Shrewd Logistics Merchants and the Hardworking Logistics Merchants. Players will only be able to purchase from these merchants when they’re a member of the territory’s alliance and have at least 1,000 Guild Contribution Points.
  • Players will be able to purchase Shining Platinum Chests for a chance to get a Territory Crystal or a Territory Dragon, several blue materials, a Mysterious Treasure Chest, Napolite Fragments, Napolite Ores, Napolite Crystals, and both Platinum and Mithril Keys with a 20% discount.

  • To accommodate new players, we gave the starter region a unique revamp.We felt like the design of our starter region was slightly lacking and did not cover the basics as well as we originally intended. To go along with this, we added and altered parts of the game hints. We hope that with these changes it will be easier for new players to get to know the game and eventually integrate better at later stages of the game.
  • Mastery Improvements:
  • With the mastery changes we’ll be overhauling all class’ skill and talent constructions into three tiers. “Basic Masteries”, “Weapon Masteries” and “Dragon God Masteries”.
  • Basic Masteries will lay the foundations for all the mastery systems and will offer each class active and passive skills.
  • Upon completion of the level 10 Mastery training quest, each player will unlock the “Weapon Masteries” tier. This tier allows for further specialization of your Basic Masteries.
  • After completing the level 60 Mastery training quest, you will be able to activate the new “Dragon God Masteries”. These skills are advanced active and passive bonuses based on the Dragon God you select, allowing up to 4 different combinations.
  • Mastery Quests:
  • Upon reaching level 10 and 60, you will receive a message that will inform you to go and start your Mastery quest. As already mentioned, when you complete one of these quests, you will unlock a new tier of masteries. Older characters that already passed these levels, will have these quests automatically completed.
  • Mastery Reset Powder:
  • With the revamp of our mastery system, the Mastery Reset Powder has become redundant. We didn’t want to just make these items useless. Instead, you will now be able to exchange Mastery Reset Powder for other items simply by using it. From now on, you will be able to reset your masteries with gold.
  • Please Note: With the introduction of this new system, we’ll make any mastery reset free of charge until we feel that the new masteries are in a right place.
  • Treasure Hunt System:
  • Want to go out hunting some treasures with your friends but fear you may never find them? No problem! Artecia will now have Ancient Book stores where you will be able to find clues. These clues will lead you to a place in the world where you will be able to find an “Encrypted Treasure Chest”. Of course this chest is hidden; it’s a hunt after all! You will be able to open these chests by crafting a key or by completing a special mini game!
  • Spirit Shield:
  • To compensate for some of the abilities the new masteries bring to the game, certain mobs and bosses will have an extra ability called “Spirit Shield”. This means they won’t be affected by crowd control and have a 30% chance to not be affected by critical hits until the shield is broken.
  • Quest Rewards:
  • We’d like to make sure that questing is a fun experience, not just something that you will have to put up with until you eventually hit your level cap. To assist you in your travels, main story quests will now have purple quality gear for you upon completion. This should actually make you feel like you just completed a part of your character’s story and of course, it will help you to slay your foes even swifter!
  • UI Improvements:
  • One of our goals for this patch is to let new players learn our game faster and transition easier. We’re adding some extra mini-map features, a quick-swap button that allows you to quickly change your equipment, an unstuck button in the Character Selection Interface and a new player frame effect that will only display when you’re in combat.

  • Dungeon ancients will now have an increased spawn chance after a certain number of runs if the player has not seen it spawn. The number of runs is decreased when running the dungeons in groups.
  • Once the player has seen the ancient, the spawn chance will reset. (This will occur whether you fail or succeed in capturing the dragon.)
  • Logging out will not reset your chance.
  • Housing System Update:
  • Players can now earn XP when resting in their house; the amount is determined by how many pieces of Marketplace furniture the player has in their home, and each one contributes a different amount.
