What's new in Colour Wars 1.2

  • 3 new maps (there's now a total of 4).
  • New partice effects.
  • New sound effects (with a volume control).
  • Selectable to 2 players or 4 players.
  • Random first player (selectable).
  • Improved speed for AI (hardest difficulty now takes half the time to take a turn).
  • New Title Screen, all menus reworked.
  • Bug Fix: Graphical glitch on some graphics cards.
  • Bug Fix: any tiles blocked off all other players, but still connected by black tiles is now correctly annexed.

New in Colour Wars 1.1 (Mar 1, 2014)

  • Setting to change the amount of black tiles.
  • Improved AI for all but the easiest opponents (this change has a side affect that the hardest AI will take a little less time to take its turn).
  • Slight improvement in AI processing speed (only noticable on hardest difficulty).
  • Setting to change the window size.
  • Fixed: Crash bug on some Intel on-board graphics cards (and/or drivers).
  • Fixed: Menu display bug with some graphics cards/drivers (I’m not sure what cards/drivers, whatever is in my sisters laptop).
