As well as the mainstream sports such as alpine skiing, ski jumping or bobsleigh, Winter Challenge, also offers the opportunity to take part in events that are rarely found in the world of video gaming. Namely, cross country, biathlon and Nordic combined.
Winter Challenge faithfully reproduces all major winter sports to make for the ultimate gaming experience to guarantee a maximum of thrills.

Here are some key features of "Winter Challange":

· 4 major disciplines : Alpine Skiing, Bobsleigh, Ski Jumping and Cross Country with over 20 different events : Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super-G, Downhill, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Bobsleigh, Cross Country with both classic, free and mixed styles (8 events), Biathlon (4 events).
· More than 30 national teams, 750 competitors and 6 winter sport domains (Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Norway) offering over 100 slopes, tracks or circuits.
· 3 modes of play :
· Single Event mode allows you to take part in one-off events. Just for the fun of it or to train yourself up for the other modes.
· Career mode takes you from Amateur, through Professional, into the International arena. Take part in events across several seasons in the sport of your choice.
· Winter Challenge mode puts you in charge of a whole team of athletes covering all events. Get as many podium places as possible to see your team decorated with a multitude of medals.
· A full tutorial that allows you to understand the basics of each sport
· Never before seen "Back in Time System" that allows you to move up to 5 seconds backwards so as to recover from a fall or error that costs you time.
· True to life sensations that are affected by the weather, the standard of equipment and the intrinsic qualities of each athlete. Equipment and competitor attributes evolve as you progress through the game.
· Several modes available in solo or up to 8 in multiplayer (Hot Seat/LAN/Internet) : full season, winter sports and single event.
