Turok is to be a story-driven, first person shooter epic set on a dark, mysterious planet in the near future.
Players will take the role of main protagonist Joseph Turok, a former Black Ops commando, who has now become a part of an elite Special Forces squad on a mission to take down his former mentor, Roland Kane, now a war criminal, who has escaped to a genetically-altered planet with his own army at his disposal and set on creating total chaos.
Once his ship is shot down while approaching the planet, Joseph Turok must depend on his instinct and military training to elude Kane's army of well-trained soldiers, and the ravenous, unpredictable creatures that populate the dangerous environment on the planet surface.
These creatures include dinosaurs naturally, but also giant insects that are afraid of light and man-eating plants among others. The dinosaurs, which include Utahraptor and the Tyrannosaurus rex, also have a stranger mutated look.
