Six-year bloodshed known as World War II left tragic memories and unbelievable legends about glory and courage of the millions of soldiers. Even though it happened in the distant past, there are many questions yet to be answered.
What would have happened if things had gone a different way and the war would have made a different turn somewhere? Was there an opportunity to finish the war sooner? What if there was someone who could effectively change the course of history? These questions together with a strong yearning to create a new and unique 3D RTS game pushed us to development of Officers.
If compared to other games of the genre, Officers is an RTS warsim with RPG elements. Its non-linear storyline with historically accurate beginning of the war allows you to win playing for any of the three sides presented in the game - Germany, USSR and Allies (Great Britain and USA). The game recreates real structures of the armies and features truthful weapons, equipment and uniforms.
Two main playable types of troops are supported with others including Special Forces, field engineers, medical units, artillery, etc. The main character climbs up the military ladder starting from a low-rank commander of a small unit to finish in a high rank.
Special skills and parameters of the main character and his subordinates bring along RPG elements. Global and local AI reproduces a realistic military command system. Powerful graphical engine produces realistic environments and dynamic actions. Multiplayer offers huge battlefields for natural born generals and tacticians.
