Bonez Adventures - In the age of old king Fulaos, stories that were legends long since then revived

Bonez Adventures are several "minor" games (with a playtime of about 12 hours), where each one of them counts for an independent volume. These volumes are supposed to come out in couple of months each after the other. All of them have unique story with different locations, NPC characters, foes and weapons.

They are altogether connected within greater complex story. Inseparable parts of the game are action subgames, which are always composed in a way to fit into the story. Each of these subgames may be played separately from the rest of the game and allow player to publish his high scores on the internet. Concerning Bonez Adventures style,

It is 3D Roleplaying / Adventure game from a 3rd preson's view. The game takes place in different locations, which offers classical adventure tasks as are: using some things on / in combination with the others, talking with NPC game characters, or solving logical problems. Player may find here number of hidden bonuses, which allows him to raise his character's abilities. Then there are action locations filled with traps and enemies.

Character abilities
Game character has several basic abilities, which define other derived skills (as a chance to hit, amount of posible damage dealt or scroll decryption skill). During the progress through the game, character gains experience points for deciphering scripts, successful overcoming of a difficult problem, or for killing enemies and similar abilities.

When reaching certain amout of experience points, player is awarded with few skill points, which he may distribute among his characters basic abilities. Confrontations with foes take place in realtime, which is as same as for melee clash as for missile combat or spell casting. Another interesting aspect of the game is deciphering ancient scripts. Those may contain important hints about action subgames, secret areas or information about storyline.

Magic
Spells and magic will be indivisible part of the game for it tells its story in a mystical tone. There is no ability defining amount magical energy or anything similar. Spells are present in form of scripts, that can be found on scrolls or writtings on walls.

Those, when found are transcripted into player's diary. Player may then use that spell only as many times as he found it. Magic may be also present in other kinds of items ( necklaces, rings, bracelets, belts, etc.), which can character wear. These magic items generaly improve players abilities. Effect of enchantement or cast spell depends on character's level or his skills.

Story
The game takes place in nineteen 30's. Main character is young archaelogist Mr. Mac Bonez, who works in museum of archaeology in London. Story begins in a moment, when he leaves with his colleague Dr. Roderson for a tomb excavation to Egypt.

They find strange sarcophagus with a mummy much older then the tomb, where it was found. Dr. Roderson leaves for permission to excavate and leaves the player ( Mac Bonez ) alone just with couple of assistants. And there begin for nothing anticipating Bonez series of dangerous adventures, which will change his life ( and not only his ) Each volume of the game will take player to different places of ancient cultures from diferent ages. For Example: Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Britain.

Mr. Bonez will travel through sundry locations, tombs, catacombs, deserts, icy plains, various cities, temples, seas. He will encounter many NPCs, friends and foes.
