Fun-Towers is a card game that’s similar to Solitaire to some extent, but the gameplay sets them apart. The goal of each round is to stack cards in ascending or descending numerical values regardless of color or type until all of them are cleared from the screen.
The rules to Fun-Towers are simple. You have a number of interconnected card pyramids that you must clear out. Underneath the aforementioned formations, there is a stack and a guide card on top of which you start to add the cards that match.
Simplified, you have to create ascending or descending sequences of cards where the values differ by plus one or minus one. For example, if your card is a 6, you can stack a 5 or a 7, regardless if it’s a heart, diamond, and so on.
It takes a bit to get used to the rules but after a few rounds, spotting the cards become more intuitive and the game gets a bit more enjoyable.
In terms of design, Fun-Towers is kind of basic with nothing, in particular, to get your attention. It’s not a bad looking game, but neither does it excel in any aspect.
The game offers a few features and options that can make it easier to play or a lot harder, both of which are welcomed since card games tend to become tedious rather fast. However, like with most games of this sort, the gameplay quickly becomes repetitive, and most of the pleasure of playing it fades away.
To wrap it up, Fun-Towers is a decent game to play if you’re into card games. Since it offers 24 levels to play, each one with increasing difficulty, it might be a good experience.
