Statue of Liberty: The Lost Symbol

Statue of Liberty: The Lost Symbol is a hidden object puzzle adventure game where players will have to investigate the theft of one of the most iconic statue in the United States of America.

The action takes place in New York where during a thunderstorm, the flame from the top of the Statue of Liberty mysteriously disappears. Everything happens so fast that even the security cameras couldn't record the event.

Players will take on the role of Susan Pierce, an FBI agent that has been with the bureau for seven years now. She has been restricted to small cases or strange ones that nobody wanted to handle. This kind of experience could help her solve this very important case and prove to the her her superior detective skills.

The gameplay follow, mainly, the classical hidden object gameplay. Traveling from one scene to the other is done by pressing the big footsteps icons and entering a hidden object scene is done by pressing the spyglass icon.

The graphics of the game barely match the ones from important hidden object titles. The animations are almost non-existent, while the sounds and the music are mediocre. There is no difficulty level and the hint button will take about 30 seconds to load. What's even more strange is that some puzzles can't be skipped, you will have to solve them in order to advance.

The story is quite attractive and following the thief that stole the light of the Liberty Statue will keep players glued to the screen of their PC. Even if you're not a big fan of hidden object games, consider giving this one a try.
