It’s rather clear what you can expect from a game with a title like SpongeBob SquarePants Diner Dash. If you’re a casual gamer then Dinner Dash is not an unfamiliar title and adding in SpongeBob SquarePants only makes it that much more appealing.

In this game, Krusty Krab sets out to find more success in the underwater restaurant business, so he hires SpongeBob SquarePants as his main and only partner. Now, you must help the protagonist seat the customers, take orders, serve the food, collect the pay, and finally, clear the table; all of which is done in the classic time management manner.

The game features the same gameplay as all the classic time management titles do. You click to tell SpongeBob where to go, what to take and who to take it to. That’s all you do, and it’s not difficult but after a while you will feel the burn, even if the action takes place at the bottom of the ocean.

As you reach higher levels, more customers come, they arrive in different colors, and you have to seat them accordingly. If you manage to match consecutive seating colors, you get bonus points. Completing a level on its own is not that tough, the real challenge comes when you want the expert level score. It takes a good deal of coordination along with quick and accurate clicking to obtain it.

The best quality to SpongeBob SquarePants Diner Dash is that it features SpongeBob and that the action takes place in the cartoon world. That’s it because this title doesn’t do much for the genre. The gameplay is almost exactly like that from other similar titles.
