A spa is usually the place where you go to relax and have a bit of quality time, while the professionals there do their best to help you relax. However, things are not as relaxing for the staff, because they have to make sure that each client receives the same kind of treatment as everyone else. Things are even tougher if you do not have any help.

Sara's Super Spa Deluxe is a time management game in which your role is to move as quickly as possible, while tending to every client that walks into your spa. Naturally, there is a variety of services you provide them with, each one of which is actually a different mini-game. The goal is to make as much money as possible every day, in order to get better equipment and upgrade your establishment.

Each client that walks in might need more than a single treatment, such as a hair wash and a haircut, or a massage and leg waxing. Although you can please the customer by taking care of his needs one after the other, you must remember that there are other clients waiting, which won’t be as happy to see you ignoring them. Hence, you must split attention between multiple tasks at once, otherwise you risk losing money.

As mentioned before, each treatment you have to offer is actually another mini-game, such as when you have to clean teeth and paint fingernails. Although most of these games are quite similar, there are variations as well, because not every haircut is the same. On the other hand, it’s all about moving quickly, so the actual interaction is kept to a minimum, which means that there’s a chance you’ll get bored of doing the same things over and over again.

On the same note, the gameplay mechanics are a bit shaky, because you can often fail to do the job when the game does not register your actions properly. Thankfully, this does not happen very often, because it would seriously ruin the experience otherwise. The visual quality is not bad at all, although it’s still Flash, so don’t expect too much either.

In the end, Sara's Super Spa Deluxe could have included a bit more variety, but it’s decent even so. However, if you are looking for something to play over long periods of time without getting bored, you might want to search somewhere else, because this has too many holes in that regard.
